Dulé Hill

Has got to be one of the luckiest actors alive. Going right into a highly succsusful show being in 130 out of 130 episdoes from another highly succsusful show being in 137 out of 155 epsides. Ontop of that a much beloved character in both of them. Even better than that being a very talented actor playing 2 very diffrent charactors.

Edit: First. Ok people need to fully read what I wrote, I clearly said he is talented. One of my favirate actors.

Second. It is rare for actors to be in a second successful show as a regular, let alone going straight into the next. No mater how talented the cast or crew are shows do tend to either not be picked up or get low rating. Luck is a facter on a show being successful. That is what i am saying. I never said Dule isnt talented.

Also being cute af is alsp a plus

Still on my first watch through. Dulé Hill is a very positive surprise

A little while ago, I posted about getting started with the show. I am at home and have Covid, and therefore I am in pretty desperate need of distractions, so I finally began watching. I am having a blast with this show, I love most of the characters. While I am not American and this show is naturally deeply patriotic, and while this show has the bad tendency to glorify a political system that is super screwed up and broken, I still like that it highlights many issues (both of political and social nature), and I just all around enjoy myself here.

I especially like that Josh Lyman is probably the most likeable Bradley Whitford-role I have come across yet, and I am very positively surprised by Charlie.

I only knew Dulé Hill from Suits, where he plays Alex Williams. Alex is likeable at most times, but also pretty annoying, and the whole performance was hella stilted. Then again, so was the writing in the later seasons of Suits, so go figure. Anyway, Charlie is anything but stilted, and Dulé Hill’s performance is great. I really enjoy his character.

That’s all! I’m almost done with season one. I’m hooked :D
