Because in windows desktop version we can use Guinea Pig alpha version to bypass russian censorship blocking of Windscribe connection, but on mobiles current iOS version for iPhones is useless at the moment , sadly… it just never connects because all exit nodes/VPN server addresses are known and blocked by state watchdog hardware boxes on every mobile operator
I used <subj> available here but couldn't make it work on MacOS. Asking support resulted in them questioning me why I don't want to use the app, and then proceeding to ask the following instead of providing a straightforward step-by-step instructions for each and every field in the VPN configuration dialog (BTW their manual setup guide is outdated)
-
where I am located geographically
-
region and server name where I'm trying to connect
-
whether I have antivirus, firewall or other VPN / DNS services
-
OS and version
-
whether I'm connecting from home or work / public
This has been going on for a couple days now, and their next-day response time isn't helping... Is there anything special about configuring an IKEv2 profile under MacOS (M2) that I'm missing?
Hi everyone. I been using Windscribe for over a year, mainly as a layer to be able to access blocked site on my work. Since like 6 months ago, the amount of blocked site do to "suspicious activity" has been constantly rising. Some of them are:
https://open.spotify.com/intl-es (intermitent)
https://www.last.fm (403 forbidden)
www.bitwarden.com (suspicious activity, login does not work)
And the list is probably bigger but i don't remember all of them ATM. I'm not a network geek, so my main concern is why this server is being flagged as "suspicious".
