Visual supplement, always fun to watch.

RIPBOZO

[–]R_Schuhart 340 points341 points  (47 children)

Let's hope he is actually done. He has been suspiciously quiet and is rumoured to be planning a (soft) coup. He has a lot of support from corrupt police and local government officials. A few political analysts think it is doubtful that he will just hand over control and power.

[–]blvd93 430 points431 points  (21 children)

Biden was very quick to issue a statement congratulating Lula, which was presumably also a warning to Bolsonaro not to try anything.

Absolutely wild that the US is seeking to stop a right-wing coup in a South American country, but here we are.

[–]Stealth_Benjamin 147 points148 points  (0 children)

Progress is progress I suppose

[–]Granadafan 134 points135 points  (5 children)

Absolutely wild that the US is seeking to stop a right-wing coup in a South American country, but here we are.

This could have gone very differently if a certain other president was in charge…

[–]simomii 88 points89 points  (2 children)

Or even 30 years ago. The US have been supporting coups from right wing dictators in South and Central America for decades

[–]delayedcolleague 64 points65 points  (1 child)

I mean the US had a big hand in Bolsonaro becoming the president the first time by helping in removing the biggest obstacles against him Lula. Operation Carwash, one of the prosecutors in that operation called the arrest of Lula “A gift from the CIA.”.

[–]degenerate-edgelord 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Or even Biden from 2004. He hasn't been particularly progressive all his career. Even now it's a surprise when he pulls off anything that betters the life of the middle class.

[–]BettsBellingerCaruso 68 points69 points  (11 children)

US usually played a dual role in other parts of the Cold War: Its not that they always want dictators but rather want someone they can rein in and not deal w negative press headlines, and after the 1980s rhe overt Cold War era coups no longer are a big option

Supported Park Chung Hee, but also saved the dissident (and later first liberal Pres.) Kim Dae Jung from being thrown into the ocean after the KCIA kidnapped Kim in Tokyo

Also later w Chun, threatened him that he cannot kill Kim Dae Jung if he wanted recognition from the US

When Kim returned to Korea in 1985, after the US saw what happened w Benigno Aquino (Filipino dissident murdered by Marcos in the airport upon his return, and then Marcos was ousted by the people in ‘86 iirc) upon his return, some US congressmen acted as human shields so Chun couldn’t kill him.

Instead ofc he was arrested and put into house arrest.

Then in 1987 also sent a tank in front of the Capital Defense Command when the people rose against Chun and was exploring using the military again as he did when he took power to fire on the people, as a warning that the US armed forces will not support a possible coup - and many younger American diplomats also acted as a de facto liaison between the democratization movement and the US

Basically the US follows its interests, and after the 1980s democracy serves the American interests usually more than overt dictatorships

I am NOT saying the US is a saint or the defender of Freedom or anything BUT -it does have an image to uphold, as morality/ideology was also an equation they had to consider in the arena of the Cold War politics.

They were definitely also more ruthless to LatAm which they saw as their “backyard” as opposed to the frontlines of the Cold War that they wee a bit more delicate about

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points  (1 child)

They also supported military coup in Brazil, but support became very lukewarm once the cold war got even colder. The military was borderline antagonist to the US by the end of it's time in power.

[–]kermvv 147 points148 points  (1 child)

Reminds me of somebody but can’t really think of who

[–]BiffNasty1234 136 points137 points  (0 children)

Orange you glad you're not brazilian today?

[–][deleted] 46 points47 points  (5 children)

I can only think of one motive for him to try a coup rn, fear of being arrested (which is genuine tbf). Bolsonarismo established itself now more than ever as a valid political movement and they get to play opposition with a strong representation in congress. Going over clean 4 years from now is a possibility and seems like a much more desirable process than a coup, since it would do a better job of legitimizing their project and create a better platform to further their goals.

[–]skyreal 41 points42 points  (2 children)

Didn't he say in a video something like "after election day I'll either be president, in prison, or dead. And I sure as hell ain't going to prison" or something like that?

[–][deleted] 33 points34 points  (0 children)

He did. He's not exactly someone whose words one should put much faith into however. He's been teasing a military coup from day one, blueballing his most fanatic supporters a few times over the last 4 years.

I just don't think he has enough bigwigs fully on his side right now to succeed, and demonstrating that a significant majority would be willing to vote for him in the next election could be a huge boon to convince those. Meanwhile he can focus on undermining Lula's mandate in order to control public opinion, I don't doubt he will be able to in some extent even with less resources.

[–]Red_Dog1880 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tbf saying something and then claiming you never did has become a staple for these chucklefucks.

[–]GabrielP2r 30 points31 points  (1 child)

He's not that smart buddy, he already showed that a hundred times over.

If he was minimally competent he would be reelected easily, but he's dumb as fuck, incompetent in every regard.

[–][deleted] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

And with all the incompetence and all the bullshit he has said and done since ever, he managed to be 2 million votes short of reelection over arguably the most popular politician in Brazil's history.

Dude has a 30+ year career in politics, I'd say he's pretty competent at keeping his ass out of trouble at least. Plus he's surrounded by people not as dumb as him. I'm just willing to expect anything at this point

[–]yosemite_marx 21 points22 points  (1 child)

Brazil January sixth has potential to be even funnier than ours or way worse who knows

[–]DeJong_Cum 141 points142 points  (4 children)

Rest in piss

Already forgotten

[–]Taz-erton 57 points58 points  (3 children)

Yeah right, of it's anything like U.S politics, he will still be the center of most news story until after the next election.

This "we beat him, he's dead--now politics is cleansed and we can finally be happy" narrative is absolutely adorable.

[–]DeJong_Cum 44 points45 points  (1 child)

Did you see the difference b/w Lula and his total votes? Of course, Bolsnaro will be part of the politics and his antics will be part of news cycle. Seems like you can't understand harmless jokes on reddit.

[–]Stranded-Racoon0389 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nah mate, even Bolsonaristas were saying before the election that he would be elected to pave the future for other dudes like Tarcísio, that was elected to as the governor of São Paulo.

Bolsonarismo is bigger than Bolsonaro.

[–]ThePrussianGrippe 831 points832 points  (119 children)

He lost, but it remains to be seen if he’ll actually try that coup attempt.

[–]forsenE-xqcL 595 points596 points  (84 children)

He basically did when the election happened and he had the police block voting stations in areas he'd lose

[–]freddie_merkury 11 points12 points  (0 children)

We call it the Trump way to lose.

[–]tinhtinh 313 points314 points  (82 children)

That's more election fixing, he tried to cheat and still lost.

He hasn't tried a coup yet but I'd imagine it wouldn't be peaceful and the US may get involved which is a good deterrent for his fuckery.

[–]Dr_Prodigious 516 points517 points  (80 children)

Ah yes, because the US are famously known for deterring coups against elected left-wing governments, especially in Latin America.

[–]SquirtingTortoise 252 points253 points  (8 children)

[–]Skylord_ah 155 points156 points  (3 children)

Dark brandon strikes again

[–]Hi_Im_zack 32 points33 points  (0 children)

He cannot be stopped

[–]gabrielconroy 139 points140 points  (51 children)

I actually think in this case they are pro-Lula just because of how bad Bolsonaro is for the Amazon, and consequently climate change.

[–]SOAR21 217 points218 points  (5 children)

Well it’s also different because Lula is a social democrat, not a socialist.

These days the extremist danger comes from the right, not the left (despite what every far-right group likes to say).

Communism is a dead/marginalized political ideology in the West.

[–]Hawly 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Worth mentioning that Lula's vice president, Geraldo Alckmin, is also a famous center-right wing politician. People claiming that Brazil will now become a communist country are out of their fucking minds.

[–]gabrielconroy 36 points37 points  (0 children)

This is also true.

[–]ExceedingChunk 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Lula is a lot more moderate tho. More like a social democrat than communistic.

[–]ncocca 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Well we've just recently had our own far-right coup attempt, so we're a bit more sensitive to it now.

[–]JesusIsNotPLProven 34 points35 points  (24 children)

He wont

[–]SyndicalistCPA 159 points160 points  (22 children)

Yeah, a lot of his people in Brazil are already calling for a peaceful transition. Also, Biden just congratulated Lula so there is additional US pressure not to fuck around (The US helping to prevent a coup of a leftist Central/South American president is actually fucking shocking).

[–]TheBees16 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Both Biden AND Putin both congratulated Lula and recognize the legitimacy of the election. Bolsonaro has effectively 0 international backing from either side.

[–]prosperenfantin 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It would have been awkward for the Biden administration to be on the fence about this: "Let's see if this far right populist who claims the presidential election was stolen from him has a point..."

[–][deleted] 43 points44 points  (0 children)

"leftist"

[–]Segundo-Sol 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ditto. Nothing's gonna happen besides "the crying of the defeated", in a literal translation.

It's business as usual today, everyone is already off to work, nobody cares about this coup crap.

[–]anotverygoodwritter 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Ooooh Bolso lost! Bolso lost Bolso lost Bolsonaro loooooost

[–]TheLimeyLemmon 2892 points2893 points  (48 children)

Pay your taxes Neymar.

[–]sadface- 924 points925 points  (25 children)

He wont, he’ll find a way to weasel out. They always do.

[–]visope 417 points418 points  (6 children)

Qatar will pay it for him

[–]leeeeerrroy_Jenkinks 188 points189 points  (5 children)

they won't now. he is no longer the golden goose. i wouldn't be surprised if they let him go in season or two.

[–]Edolas93 271 points272 points  (2 children)

His manager Mbappe wont want such a money hungry individual in his dressing room.

[–]curaga12 9 points10 points  (0 children)

[–]derpa_chief 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Oh this really made me chuckle, Thanks!

[–][deleted] 140 points141 points  (11 children)

French national team is about to have a new attacking player.

[–]RebBrown 130 points131 points  (0 children)

Némar

[–]bad_is_good90 44 points45 points  (1 child)

Pogba’s witch doctor?

[–]Dependent-Ad-7608 37 points38 points  (1 child)

France already have a quite popular fascist bitch for him to cosy up

[–]Granadafan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He can always move to Italy

[–]Rakko-sama 12 points13 points  (4 children)

We do need a playmaker given Pogba might not be at the WC….

[–]nubbinfun101 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Fuck Neymar

[–]Dependent-Ad-7608 111 points112 points  (6 children)

He'll move to Italy and support the new fascists there, or maybe will stay in France and support the fascist bitch

[–]thegreatwanker 1244 points1245 points  (18 children)

ok bro declare your taxes

[–]Dependent-Ad-7608 338 points339 points  (14 children)

Neymar declares he is moving to France

[–]petitelouloutte 96 points97 points  (6 children)

Idk he'd still have to pay taxes in France

[–]Dependent-Ad-7608 65 points66 points  (5 children)

Not unless he supports fascists there and they win elections

[–]abhi1260 101 points102 points  (2 children)

Lol Mbappe supporting Macron and Neymar supporting Le Pen would be funny as fuck.

[–]Dependent-Ad-7608 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Like a New front opening up in an ongoing conflict, this is the real Cold War

[–]American_ 614 points615 points  (6 children)

Yo Ney, it's always sunny during tax season innit

[–]pretty_pretty_good_ 123 points124 points  (2 children)

Always sunny?

"Who should I vote for? The PT candidate who's blasting me in the ass, or the PL candidate who's blasting my ass?" - Neymar

[–]DarthDaddyCool 21 points22 points  (0 children)

So anyways he started blasting.... Bang! Bang!

[–]respawnsable 17 points18 points  (0 children)

sweet ney gets audited

[–]ollster3000 1934 points1935 points  (64 children)

Fucking rich people

[–]Fluffy_MrSheep 438 points439 points  (60 children)

Ironic as a rma fan

And I'm a rma fan aswell

[–]DharmaLeader 143 points144 points  (7 children)

I mean I think the same but I support the "upper class" club in Greece. Although these distinctions have surely faded away in the past 30-40 yers.

[–][deleted] 314 points315 points  (45 children)

I rich football club is not a person. You can enjoy their football and still think Perez should be dispossessed.

[–]LC1903 198 points199 points  (22 children)

Real Madrid is definitely a team supported by the upper class in the city, they’re are seen as the “rich team” because of their fans not only the club itself

[–]Morrandir 48 points49 points  (3 children)

Before City and PSG got pimped, Real was THE rich team of world football.

[–]Youngdumbstoneddrunk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This makes me feel wicked old when you informing people this.

[–]Praydaythemice 751 points752 points  (10 children)

Rest in piss Bolzo 😂 🤣

[–]Bafangul 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Ballsonaro

[–]Aenjeprekemaluci 74 points75 points  (3 children)

Dangerous to assume he is done. Election was won by Lula in a small margin. Its up to Lula to make him really done with his term. Which i believe he could do it.

[–]Majormlgnoob 9 points10 points  (0 children)

He said he wins, dies, or goes to jail so

[–]tatincasco 22 points23 points  (0 children)

bolsonazi

[–]looped10 18 points19 points  (3 children)

is he dead? I thought he just lost the elections

[–][deleted] 126 points127 points  (0 children)

He's alive resting in a pool of piss.

[–]Axelaxe 448 points449 points  (36 children)

I will never get why wealthy people seems to be the most greedy. I know people say that's how they stay wealthy but cmon... pay your fucking taxes

[–]english_gritts 194 points195 points  (15 children)

'Money doesn't change men, it merely unmasks them. If a man is naturally selfish or arrogant or greedy, the money brings that out, that's all.'

[–]imbluedabudeedabuda 158 points159 points  (14 children)

I hear this a lot but I honestly don't believe it at all. It's odd puritanical thinking that people are just good or bad devoid of context and positions of power.

Life experiences change people. Gaining and losing money is part of life.

[–]EpoxyD 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Because they pay the most expensive accounts. As the old saying goes: paying a good accountant will make you money.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Most people become rich by being shitty people. Kinda comes with the territory a majority of the time.

[–]Dayandnight95 828 points829 points  (37 children)

Rich man supports right wing candidate. Shock.

[–]Sutton31 504 points505 points  (27 children)

Counter point, Juninho supports Lula

[–]Turtle_317 503 points504 points  (6 children)

So does Richarlison

[–]simomii 90 points91 points  (2 children)

And Raí

[–]Furthur_slimeking 53 points54 points  (1 child)

I mean, he's Socrates younger brother. It would be bizarre if he didn't support Lula.

[–]TomCosella 238 points239 points  (0 children)

Fuck yes. The pigeon gets it

[–]patw420 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I’ll add Paulinho from Bayer Leverkusen as a Lula supporter as well

[–][deleted] 52 points53 points  (0 children)

still need to bin off lucas

[–]shivam4321 159 points160 points  (10 children)

Juninho might be rich but not neymar on psg wages rich

[–]Sutton31 195 points196 points  (9 children)

Sure but it shows it’s possible not to be a successful footballer and a fuckhead

[–]poli421 171 points172 points  (8 children)

Richarlison is another good example. Openly hates Bolsonaro.

[–]verci0222 75 points76 points  (1 child)

Stop, I don't want to respect any more spurs footballers :(

[–]BigPorch 21 points22 points  (0 children)

We still have Lucas for you to hate

[–]el_pinko_grande 47 points48 points  (4 children)

I have enjoyed hating on Richarlison for vague and irrational reasons for years, gutted to learn he's actually based.

[–]shinto29 19 points20 points  (1 child)

I’m pretty sure he donated towards early vaccine research efforts in Brazil too, the guy is insufferable if he’s not playing for you but can’t deny he’s a good person

[–]kingfart1337 9 points10 points  (1 child)

I can help you out.

Richarlison is actually a known murder and drug lord. His donations are just a huge money laundry scheme.

You don’t need to fact check it, just trust me. The news is hiding this info.

[–]RuySan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I can only imagine the swell atmosphere on Brazil's locker room on the next WC

[–]alan_cartridge_ 12 points13 points  (3 children)

There are always some exceptions (I mean, even Engels was rich) but generally speaking most people are likely to vote with their wallet in mind. It's not really surprising that so many famous footballers support Bolsonaro then

[–]Kartoffelplotz 204 points205 points  (5 children)

Now contrast that to Socrates, who literally left Brazil because of the military dictatorship and went to Italy because he wanted "to read Gramsci in the original language and study the history of the worker's movement". The same military dictatorship Bolsonaro adored and the idea of which Neymar apparently found acceptable. Fuck him.

[–]Vivid-Command-2605 80 points81 points  (3 children)

Based gramsci enjoyer

[–]castillopresidente 19 points20 points  (0 children)

vs Virgin Bolsonaro minion

[–]-Ken-Tremendous- 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Socrates > Socrates

[–]Sunburys 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Who could predict that

[–]rodrigoa1990 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Poor people not paying $100 in taxes: PRISON

Rich people not paying 100M in taxes: pay a 5M fine (in the rare cases they are actually punished)

[–][deleted] 43 points44 points  (0 children)

It kinda is given he is normally a left winger

[–]oreohsehun 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Ei, Neymar, Vai ter que declarar!

[–][deleted] 168 points169 points  (1 child)

Neymar, get a tattoo of Lula and you’re good to go.

Edit: on your face.

[–]Big_man03 77 points78 points  (2 children)

Good for fuck sakes. Love Thiago Silva but seeing he endorsed Bolsonaro was a disappointment.

[–]Lord_Sauron 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Seeing him cry in internationals feels extra delicious now

[–]Terran_it_up 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At this point I'm surprised when a Brazilian footballer reveals they don't support Bolsonaro

[–]TrebuchetMeABeerBro 320 points321 points  (12 children)

Fuck neymar. Supporting blood of his fellow man being spilled so he can save some money. Selfish prick

[–]fischarcher 124 points125 points  (6 children)

Shit person on and off the pitch

[–]Joethe147 29 points30 points  (1 child)

Indeed. Humble my arse.

[–]adminslikefelching 22 points23 points  (2 children)

He's one of the biggest cunts I've ever seen in Brazilian football, and there are plenty.

[–]PM_ME_SOME_LUV 22 points23 points  (7 children)

I wonder how this’ll effect the national team, considering so many of them supported Bolsonaro

[–]Strijkerszoon 41 points42 points  (6 children)

I hope it kills their spirit, privileged c*nts to support someone like Bolsonaro from their Ivory tower.

[–]Terran_it_up 14 points15 points  (4 children)

Just like Ozil and Gundogan supporting Erdogan

[–]62frog 53 points54 points  (1 child)

Bolso nah bro

[–]Goatbeerdog 88 points89 points  (40 children)

Why would he pay taxes in Brazil? Isnt he Europe based

[–]FridaysMan 233 points234 points  (1 child)

He moved. The taxes were for earnings on the transfer fees I believe.

https://www.boatinternational.com/yachts/news/neymars-yacht-seized-by-brazilian-court--29441

[–]Goatbeerdog 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Thanks

[–]doswillrule 84 points85 points  (8 children)

It's related to payments received from Barcelona when he was still at Santos

[–]j-dam67 57 points58 points  (6 children)

so how much did they pay him if he owes 40 mill on that

[–]LeftWingRepitilian 49 points50 points  (0 children)

he owed R$63.3 million in taxes, which is about €12.2 million. the £40 million is probably referencing a fine for the unpaid taxes. there's a lot of conflicting information around so it's hard to know exactly how much he owes.

source

[–][deleted] 60 points61 points  (1 child)

Just Barca things

[–]mntgoat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm super confused. Shouldn't the hookers from the orgies be the ones that owe taxes?

[–]Kavor 44 points45 points  (2 children)

What currency would you like your answer in? Euros, Dollars or Levers?

[–][deleted] 13 points14 points  (1 child)

Zimbabwen Dollar please

[–]Goatbeerdog 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ah thanks

[–]Huwbacca 51 points52 points  (26 children)

Why would he pay taxes in Brazil?

Guess what Americans outside of America have to do lol.

[–]Blewfin 70 points71 points  (4 children)

The US is very much the exception in that regard

[–]CursedPhil 12 points13 points  (20 children)

Do Americans living in other countries have to pay taxes in America ?

[–]45356675467789988 24 points25 points  (13 children)

There's a complicated system where you can elect deductions or credits for foreign taxes, so yes, but it's not like you're paying a full tax burden in both countries

[–]mittromniknight 36 points37 points  (12 children)

it's disgusting imperialism is what it is

no country should be taxing wages earned by people living and working in different nations. Split residency can get more complicated.

[–]Jasper-Collins 13 points14 points  (11 children)

Disagree. It's designed to keep people from earning money in the US and then funneling it off shore to avoid taxes.

[–]metamaoz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah but you have to making over 6 figures to be taxed

[–]SkepticSlakoth 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Halle-Lula

[–]Elgransancho4 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The amount of support Jaír had from most of the legends of the sport in Brazil was really disappointing.

[–]ninetiesdude 18 points19 points  (2 children)

He has Barça DNA. We don’t pay our taxes unless you get caught.

[–]Capable-Tie-4670 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Still in Messi’s shadow, unfortunately.

[–]j-dam67 168 points169 points  (17 children)

Not only is he a great footballer, but he also dodges taxes. Brilliant man.

Wasn't that other twat blaming Ukraine for Russian invasion?

[–][deleted] 130 points131 points  (3 children)

dribbles past his taxes as well

[–][deleted] 43 points44 points  (0 children)

His accountant rainbowed flicked the tax man.

[–]tronalddumpresister 16 points17 points  (11 children)

Wasn't that other twat

who?

[–]Youngdumbstoneddrunk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

R.I.P Michael Brooks.

[–]adempseyy 115 points116 points  (36 children)

They’ll be cheering for him in a month

[–]R_Schuhart 85 points86 points  (3 children)

That is doubtful. Neymar has never been all that popular among Brazilians, especially with the common working classes. They will support the team, but he isn't seen as an idol.

[–]jggomes14 34 points35 points  (0 children)

We bash our idols more than anyone in the world, you know why Ronaldinho has a free pass to do all the shit that he does outside the pitch? Because he won, unfortunetly this is how it works here.

[–]Dsalgueiro 128 points129 points  (14 children)

Neymar's support to Bolsonaro caused a huge blow to his image here in Brazil. This time I don't know if he will be able to recover, especially now that we have players like Vini Jr and Richarlison, who are almost unanimous internally.

[–]simomii 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Has Vini ever spoken on Bolsonaro?

[–][deleted] 21 points22 points  (11 children)

Do Vinicius and Richarlison have the same star power as Neymar tho?! Neymar is a super star. The other two aren’t

[–]rsorin 34 points35 points  (5 children)

Richarlison is not even close, but I think Vini is pretty close.

And while Neymar has many haters as well, everybody likes Vini.

[–]mitorandiro 19 points20 points  (1 child)

I don't think Vini is close at all. Hopefully after an amazing WC he will be up there

[–][deleted] 25 points26 points  (1 child)

Vini close to Neymar?! Come on!! Neymar has about 200 millions instagram followers. I don’t think Vini has even 20 millions.

[–]rsorin 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I'm talking about Brazil. Their star-power here.

There's a lot of media attention on him.

And, as I said, Vini is already in a couple pre-WC commercials, while Neymar is in none. Even Tite showed up in a few.

And Vini is liked by everyone, while Neymar has gathered many haters. If he does well in the WC I can see him actually surpassing Neymar.

Brazilians will not be cheering for him. They will be cheering for Seleção.

I want the fuckin hexa. Bring it home and then shut the hell up Neymar.

He endorsed Bolsonaro? What an absolute knobhead

[–]LocksTheFox 13 points14 points  (1 child)

From my understanding most of the Seleção did. The only one I can think of that endorsed Lula was Richarlison.

Sometimes it is better to not speak about politicts. If I were an atlete, I would keep my political views to myself (that is also what I do in my real life).

thing is that many people look up to him so he can sway their opinions and since he has an obvious interest in one of them winning it kinda makes sense for him.

Stupid question but Neymar lives in France? Why does he have to declare anything to Brasil?

[–]knz0 10 points11 points  (1 child)

He probably has a metric shitton of endorsement money coming in from Brazil. No point in sending that money to a company in France to complicate matters

I can't believe Neymar used his influence to try and get Brazilians to vote for the Amazon to be trashed. What a shit.
