You would think that players would have learned from the Ja Morant situation yet here we are. At least he wasn't on social media showing it off or anything, but still, bad look given what the league just went through with Ja Morant.

All of a sudden he’s getting minutes? I’m glad and would love to see him in rotation but it was shocking to see Ty give him meaningful minutes.

At my vet. Saw the tech walk up and give Amir Coffey his dog. I wanted to say something but I was too scared to do so. I don’t like bothering ppl in public
I know this doesn't matter to a lot of y'all but I wanted to shout it out because it was a surprise he'd be starting. He had some big plays including recovering the ball on a steal to set up a James Harden to Kawhi fast break (if someone has the replay of that, I'd love to see it, on the Clippers feed they just showed his face and he was smiling ear to ear while laying on the floor).
He had the hot hand for a while during the lead but cooled down by the 4th. Luckily for the Clippers Norm Powell picked it up then.
Honestly, 2 seasons ago when both Kawhi and PG were out for a large amount of the season, he impressed as well. This dude is in fact an NBA player and I think teams would be happy to have him.
One free agent I can see Masai and Bobby possibly going after is Amir Coffey from the Clippers. He fits the Raptors mold (good defence, can hit 3s, good wingspan). He is a low risk-high reward player who can really shore up the bench.
Lue used Coffey as something of a Swiss Army Knife for the team. Coffey logged 29% of his minutes at shooting guard, 58% at small forward, and 12% at power forward, according to Cleaning The Glass. He also had 2% of his minutes come at point guard, so you can clearly make the case that he played three wing positions and another position sporadically. That’s a valuable player.
