It's a place aimed primarily at hardcore draft enthusiasts, not casuals. The target market of this sub is people who are passionate about scouting NBA prospects. So all the content is geared towards facilitating more scouting knowledge.
The goal is r/NBA_Draft to be a content-driven sub. I.e. a place that curates all the best articles/podcasts/etc from all the best draft nerds from around the net. It should be the forefront of various draft content. Like a one-stop-hub for progressive draft analysis.
There's no such thing as a reach here, just looking at prospects objectively and finding the best ones there are. Ignore the consensus.
Self-promotion is okay only if the content is high quality analysis and isn't spammed every few days. If you repeatedly post your own mediocre content regularly and not participate, your posts will be removed (and we'll let you know why). If an account has multiple posts of their own content on page 1 of the sub, that's a problem. It looks unattractive for first-time visitors, who we'd rather welcome.
Be civil. Personal insults are not tolerated here. Those who are overly negative or abusive will be banned. Read reddiqette.
