Hate speech is abusive or threatening speech or writing that expresses prejudice against a particular group, especially on the basis of race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. Using slurs here, regardless of context, falls into this also. This extends to both other users on the sub, and when commenting on the show/cast members themselves.

Anything that has already been posted within the last 5 days will be removed. Please use the subs search bar and/or sort by new before posting to check there isn't already a thread on the topic.

For a new season - spoiler rules apply to posts regarding the latest episode for 12 HOURS after they air. After 12 hours, you are allowed to talk about what's aired without tagging your post as a spoiler.

Users engaging in our community are expected to do so in a respectful manner at all times, & to remember the human behind the comment you reply to. Personal attacks against other users will be removed. Do not call users names, put them down, or communicate in any other way that will hurt or offend others. Debating needs to be done in a respectful & friendly manner. Users with a history of being here to argue will be banned.

No screenshots ect messaging or attacking MAFS cast members on their social media. The sub is a free space to express opinions, both positive and negative, about the show and the people in it. Sending hate directly to the cast is not okay or approved of here. We do not condone any bullying or harassment of cast members.

Posts that are spam, low effort, low engagement or otherwise do not contribute to conversation will be removed. This includes low effort memes or shitposts. These removals are at mods discretion and often based on user reports.

Response threads about an episode straight after it airs (the night of, until the next morning) are not allowed and will be removed. These posts belong in the post episode threads we have up at the end of each episode.

Media are not allowed to post here for clicks.

Please do not post links here to either the so dramatic website or their podcast. Users are welcome to speak about what they see on this website, But please do not link directly to it. This includes their social media handles.

This rule is due to overwhelming user feedback asking for it to be implied. It is also in part due to the outlets history of trolling and spamming the subreddit with clickbait.
