TL;DR: The abovementioned post and rankings are largely inaccurate, as they are based on a damage formula and spreadsheet that has serious errors and greatly minimises the impact of moving the Splintering Aspect off your 2H or Amulet. Always check the math.

Corrected rankings here and here: Combo 7 is best for run-and-gun farming and single-target DPS. Sucks against Suppressors, but Suppressors suck in general anyway. For people who don't like to click:

u/OperatorOtter0879 proposes using several alternate combinations of aspects in gear slots, such as:
"Combo 6": Edgemaster's and Splintering on Gloves/Ring, Serration on Amulet, Grasping on 2H
"Combo 9": Same as Combo 6, but swap Grasping to Amulet, and Serration to 2H
