I genuinely believe this movie is on par with The Naked Gun and Airplane! (both directed by David Zucker who also directed this one) when it comes to parody movies. While it certainly has its fair share of "pee & fart jokes", the overall writing is very clever and so much above every other parody movies that came after, that ultimately ran the entire genre into the ground. From the very opening with Pamela Anderson and Jenny McCarthy to the end credits (literally if you look for it midway through), it's almost non-stop for 84 minutes and it works.
Anna Faris and Regina Hall are of course great, but also Charlie Sheen and Simon Rex I think deserve credit as well. In this kind of movies the line between being funny and outright silly is so thin that I applaud any actor who manages to make me laugh or even giggle when watching it.
Also, the visual gags throughout are some of the funniest I've ever seen. The sheriff's hat growing bigger, President Harris (R.I.P. Leslie Nielsen) looking at a portrait of Harrison Ford and saying "I wonder what President Ford would have done". Also the legendary shotgun shovel scene. Sometimes the jokes go right over your head, and almost every time I rewatch it I notice something new I didn't pick up on earlier.
People say making a good comedy is hard, but making a good parody movie? Even harder. And I think they nailed it with this one.
