Have you tried playing any of the other MGS games, started with 5 as well, stopped playing after chapter 4 so I could play 1-3 and they were all amazing, only issue with them is how hard they are to get your hands on

Use assist mode if you want to learn his move set, and when you feel comfortable you can turn it off again
