Whenever a cat freaks out, it runs off out of sight. Little do most people know that they actually escape to the cat dimension, which is a dimension that's always just out of sight of all humans and is contiguous with all of spacetime. Cats may travel through it at will, allowing them to go from one point to another seemingly instantly. This subreddit is dedicated to felines (and rarely, other animals) leaving for the cat dimension.

Back in December the British Comedy Guide listed Richard as a guest on tonight's Catsdown episode. Earlier this week, the r/panelshow weekly schedule also listed Richard as a guest.

But that appears to have changed. The British Comedy Guide and Channel 4 both now say that the panelists will be Jonathan Ross, Joe Wilkinson, Roisin Conaty and Ahir Shah. The channel 4 website makes no mention of any other upcoming episodes.

We've seen this kind of last minute shuffling of Catsdown episodes before; it doesn't necessarily portend any calamity.

He'll be a guest captain, paired with Laura Smyth, a young comedian I hadn't heard of. Here she is on The Mo Gilligan Show doing a bit of standup. Funny. There's the potential that she and Richard can bond over their love for Columbo.

Link to the Catsdown episode summary in the British Comedy Guide.
