I really love that a game like Black Desert (tbh i cant think of a different one right now) DON'T have a fast travel System. It makes you feel way more connected to the ingame world. And with it not being available you cant be baited to use it or you cant have friends that say "oh nah lets just use fast travel because its more convenient".

For Sure the game itself must be designed to work with this kind of system and you couldn't just remove fast travel from every game that has it (when looking at how good the World is designed and also some kind of different systems like auto-pathing). But when the devs really design the game in this way its just awesome.

(lost ark for example was a negative example for this with its sailing. There its just insanly boring to swim around with your ship and literally see nothing Else then blue while Black desert has just an beautifully designed map.)

Edit: Since i saw some comments about not valueing your time i guess i would say you can see this more like "the Route is the goal" similiar to e.g. Driving a mororcycle or sth similiar.

Its more like i wanne see some awesome designed maps instead of slapping the same enemy a Million times to get my gear +1

EDIT 2: Since so many people say it... "Just dont use it" is not really an option for many games that are currently out and i dont want currently games to remove its fast travel System. Im asking for games that get (FROM THE BEGINNING) designed with the goal to dont have a fast travel System so that the map gets designed more carefully and interesting. The immersion of a good designed game/map without the Intention of having fast travel from the very first Minute of developing is just way better imo.
