Maintenance Phase Podcast

i just finished listening to the calorie menu labeling episode and it threw me back to my middle school self who was obsessed with the "Eat This Not That" books. if you aren't familiar, these books tell you which food items at a fast food/fast casual/chain restaurant are the lowest calorie and which are the highest calorie.

the writing in these books as i remember them were so alarmist and really dug into my impressionable brain at the tender age of 11. and they were constantly advocating for menu calorie labeling. i refused to eat mcdonald's for a year AS A CHILD!

i was just wondering if anyone else has ever read these books too and had any thoughts. such an unhealthy thing for me to be reading so young
