Posts about A-levels
The results of the 2022 Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) examination will be released on Friday, 17 February 2023, 2.30pm.
2. Arrangements have been made for school candidates to receive their results from their schools. Parents/guardians may accompany their child/ward to their school to collect their results, should they wish to. Details on the collection arrangements will be shared by the respective schools.
3. School candidates who are unwell should exercise social responsibility and may access their results online via Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board's (SEAB) Candidates Portal at www.seab.gov.sg from 3.15pm on Friday, 17 February 2023 till 11.59pm on Friday, 3 March 2023. School candidates who are eligible for Singpass can use their Singpass account to access SEAB's Candidates Portal. School candidates who are International Students will receive their system-generated username via email from Tuesday, 14 February 2023.
4. School candidates who are unable to collect their results in person can also appoint a proxy to collect a physical copy of their results on their behalf from the school. Proxies are required to produce the relevant documents for the school's verification when collecting the results. School candidates may contact their schools for assistance if they are unable to appoint a proxy, or if they have not received their system-generated username for SEAB's Candidates Portal.
5. Private candidates who are eligible for Singpass can use their Singpass account to obtain their results online via SEAB's Candidates Portal from 3.15pm on Friday, 17 February 2023, similar to the arrangement for school candidates. Private candidates who are not eligible for Singpass can view their results in the portal using the account that they have created during registration.
6. Hardcopy result slips will also be mailed on Friday, 17 February 2023 to private candidates at the address that they had provided during registration.
7. Students who wish to apply for admissions and/or scholarships to the Autonomous Universities (AUs) should submit their applications online. There is no need to submit a hard copy of their GCE A-Level certificates. More information on the AUs' admissions processes can be found on their respective websites, and applicants can approach the AUs directly for further clarifications.
8. Candidates are encouraged to explore the range of education and career pathways available to them to make informed decisions about their next steps. They may refer to the following websites for more information:
MOE's CourseFinder (www.moe.gov.sg/coursefinder) on the course offerings in AUs
MySkillsFuture (go.gov.sg/mysfpreu) on education and career pathways
School candidates may also consult their teachers or ECG Counsellors supporting their schools about their next steps. To complement the ECG services provided by schools, candidates may make an appointment for counselling with an ECG Counsellor from the ECG Centre at MOE (Grange Road) via the e-Appointment system at go.gov.sg/moe-ecg-centre, calling the ECG hotline at 6831 1420, or emailing MOE_ECG@moe.gov.sg. The MOE ECG Centre will offer online or phone counselling from Friday, 10 February 2023 to Saturday, 18 March 2023 (Weekdays: 9am to 5pm; Saturdays: 9am to 12pm).
School candidates viewing their results online can still contact their schools and teachers for consultation on their next steps.
Congratulations to everyone in the Class of 2022 for getting this far and completing your A Levels! Results release will be imminent and taking place at 2.30pm. We at SGExams hope that you have all received the results you have wished for!
