I know I read about this at some point even before that article, but most of us sleep with a comfort object. Many transition to a pillow or weighted blanket in adulthood, but really, there is no need to judge someone for keeping something that helps them sleep well. Do keep it clean, of course.

Frosting, donut fillings and garlic "butter" all come in them. They're usually cleaned out for recycling but can be had for the asking.

LPT Request: What words should I replace with 'sorry' from my vocabulary

Hey y'all, as the title suggests, I am currently struggling especially saying sorry too many times to co workers and cleints when in workplace. It mainly comes from a place inside where I think I may be causing trouble/delay and just don't want to deal with the anxiety that comes with it( I hope it makes sense?).

Would love to hear if you have had similar experiences and any advice/words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated!

LPT: If you plan to provide a cop your proof of insurance via your iPhone, set up Guided Access ahead of time to lock them out of everything else.

Most states allow you to present a virtual insurance ID card if you get pulled over. It can be handy in case your paper insurance card always seems to be expired, like mine. But, this involves handing over your unlocked phone to an officer who will likely take it back to their squad car with your ID.

I can’t speak for Androids, but iPhones have something called Guided Access in the Accessibility options. You can customize it to activate with just a triple click on the power button. Set it to disable touch and never let the screen go to sleep.

This way, you can pull up your info, turn on guided access, and hand your phone over with peace of mind that they won’t be able to look at anything else, and the screen won’t go dark. When they return it, triple click again and enter your passcode to turn it off.

Lpt request: how to help a grieving dog

Hi, i have 2 dogs, one is 14, and one is 8. The 14 year old sleeps alot and can only go on short, slow walks so we can tell that her time might be up soon ish, however the 8 year old has never lived without the 14 year old. How should i help the 8 year old understand what is going on/help her be okay? Any advice would be great thanks
