Recently, I've been thinking about Rachel McAdams' Spotlight nomination. In that film, the cast worked together well. It seemed like a true ensemble to me. She was good in the film, but I don't recall something from her that stood out like a big individual moment from her in the movie. At the time, her nomination surprised me because she wasn't nominated individually for the Golden Globe. Not just her, but I can understand someone saying that the same about Mark. I will say that his character was awkward so he added an extra element to it. It's been a long while, but did her or even his nom surprise you?
