I've put up numerous posts like this before, but with little to no success. As I get older, I find it increasingly difficult to make friends. In the last 10 years, any gaming friends I have had are long and gone. I'm socially awkward with new people, but, when I get to know someone or spend some time with them I start to open up. Let me first say, I'm not looking to join any gaming groups/clans/factions, as they never work out for me. I fixate on things. Worry a lot that a person doesn't like me. And I think its what prevents me from making friends. When you get to know me, I've got a dark sense of humour, pretty much nothings off the table, and I swear a lot.

I recently made the switch to PC gaming. I do also have a PS5, so I could play some games there, too. I have some games in steam, and I have the Xbox gamepass. I'm just kind of in limbo with PC gaming. Really don't know what I want to play, and would be happy to take some guidance/recommendations from someone who wanted to play some games together. I like coop games, MMO's, survival games, pretty much anything with zombies/post apocalyptic settings. I am abysmal at FPS games, but happy to give anything new a chance.

Also should mention, I work alternating shift work on a compressed work week (month of days/month of nights), and I have children. So my play times can be erratic. Sometimes I could be on near every day, other times I might not get on for a week. On nights I tend to find I can play more often, as I can bring the laptop to work with me. Timezone differences generally shouldn't be an issue most of the time due to my shift, I'm usually online at unsociable hours in my timezone.
