Thank you so much! It truly means so much to me to get responses like this! I really love to dive into words like this, no matter what is taking place in my life, and this is so me! I am trying to read as fast as I possible to keep somewhat up with all that goes on in the show. Mid though City of Ashes now. I am really liking the books. The show is a very good visual of this world! Starting on podcast ep s1ep12. All the deviation and adjustments to the show I fully get, and of all the shows I have watched so far, this adaptation really works in my eyes! I just bemoan that Netflix, after helping the first production company, axed the show, having them tie up all the big storylines. In my opinion they should have let it run for a few more seasons, with Clace continuing into the sunset with them engaged and happily ever after ending. Oh well, it is what it is… 😊

They talk through every episode after having rewatched it, speaking about what they did, discussed on set and funny things from behind the scenes, and they invited other co-start, crew, writers. From what I can tell they have episodes up until s2 ep 13. I am only on s1 ep 5 of the podcast so far. Dom/Jace is my favorite! I am so envious of their comradery behind the scenes.

Having only found this show/ book series now, this many years after it wrapped, I am so mad at myself for not finding it sooner. These kinds of show are so my thing! 😅😔😩😆

Thanks for the post! It’s too bad Lionsgate and Guy made the deal with Amazon for the international distribution rights. In my personal opinion the UK, Europe and internationally audience have been snubbed by it going directly to streaming! If they wanted to recuperate the 60 million budget, and maybe, maybe make a sequel, they really should have had it on the big screen internationally! That’s where you make money in the film industry…or so I thought… I was so excited to see it in this cinema in Norway, reading both books it’s based on over a year ago, and I am now Very disappointed… 😔
