Joel Embiid is really lucky that Ben Simmons took the flak after the Hawks choke in 2021. He had 16 turnovers in the final 2 games of that series

The 2021 ECSF was another classic Embiid choke but goes unnoticed because Ben Simmons turned into a boiled potato in the 4th quarters of that series, and had the infamous passed up dunk. Embiid had 16 turnovers in games 6/7 combined, including getting ripped by Danillo Gallinari to close out game 7.

Joel should buy Ben Simmons dinner for taking the heat

James Harden still wants to leave Philadelphia and remains determined to start next season in a Clippers jersey. But rival executives told @sam_amick they were universally convinced that the Sixers are now attempting to keep the 10-time All-Star.

Harden’s stance has not changed, a source close to him told The Athletic. He still wants to leave Philadelphia. He’s still upset with how Morey handled his situation heading into possible free agency last month.

And even with the recent revelation that Harden attended the same NBPA party as Sixers co-star Joel Embiid and former Sixers owner Michael Rubin in Vegas he’s still determined to start next season in a Clippers jersey.
