Rant

The one is mostly a rant there's no solution I want right now if you're gonna tell me to suck it up I'm already doing that I'm just here to complain.

TL;DR:forced to do a booth which I have no interest, relation nor experience to,working with all 5 other slackers who admit they are slackers and claim incompetence and is backed by the teacher in charge who defends them when I speak up about them not contributing. End up doing all the work and I fear they will get the credit for doing nothing.

School has this STEM day event and I am being chosen to do this even though I didn't agree to it. It's a robotics booth, and I don't see why I'm related to this since I'm not a computing student or anything. This computing teacher said cause no one volunteered so they picked me because I was doing this other school programme(which was about Arduino) but I'm not even close to finishing that since I'm only on the 4th session and we have yet to code. I tried to get out of this by telling the teacher I had other commitments but she somehow checked my timetable and with teachers who are related to my commitments to prove that I would indeed be free to prepare and showcase.

The issue here isnt about coding or building the robot, it's about how the rest who were chosen arent contributing at all. They took the school programme(which is about microbit) to gain experience which was actually related to this STEM booth, but when talking to most of them, they literally admit that they "don't know what to do" and that they just use their phones during the programme because they just wanted something in their SGC.

I don't know why they were chosen, and when I tried to work with them,I ended up being the only one coding everything. When the teacher asks the group to come up with a name and synopsis, no one replies even beyond the due date and I have to be the one to suggest something, which then the teacher keeps doubting my ability and questioning the feasibility, while everyone else blueticks me in the group chat. In the end the teacher just took my idea and modified it to fit her ideals so idk why they even needed our opinion.

I have tried to text the teacher about these concerns, and she literally defended them, saying that they were "intimidated" by my suggestion when all I suggested was to maybe make this microbit car spin and make sounds like a dog to be less mechanical(apparently the teacher says this is "over-promising". It was a suggestion, and yet because no one else objected or agreed with, somehow it's my responsibility to have an alternative, and when I asked the group for their own ideas(which they all blueticked me). I tried asking one of them in person why they didn't respond to my suggestion they again said it's cause they don't know how to code anything so they wouldn't know if it's possible. I can't even complain to any other teachers because I think she's the teacher in charge and I don't know any other computing teachers.

I'm kinda sick and tired(literally I had a high fever yesterday and I still had to argue against the teacher for defending these slackers) of this it'll be over in August I just need to make sure the robot is actually built before end July and hope that at least these people know how to design a booth if even I have to do that I don't mind skipping school and losing this in my SGC. Ok thanks if u read this far:)
