Hello and welcome to music’s biggest night! The GRAMMYs Rate is due one week from today Get ballots in by July 9 at 11:59 PM EST. If you need an extension, please let me know. Extensions will run until noon on Wednesday July 12. Ballots will not be accepted after that extension deadline, so don’t wait too long to start.

For those that missed the initial post, this rate pits the 1994 GRAMMY nominees against each other. The albums are Belly’s Star, Nirvana’s In Utero, R.E.M.’s Automatic for the People, Smashing Pumpkins’ Siamese Dream and U2’s Zooropa. If you're unsure what a rate is there's an explanation in the linked post above, but it's a fun activity where you score a group of songs from 1-10 (and sometimes 0 and 11), send it in, and then we take everyone's scores, average them together, and reveal how the participants ranked each one.

Current Stats:

  • 16 Raters have submitted. Here is the list of ballots I’ve collected, if you’ve submitted but do not see your name please contact me.

  • The Average score is a 7.414

  • The Average Controversy is 1.897

  • The song with the most 11’s has 4 of them, 9 different songs have received 11’s

  • The song with the most 0’s has 3 of them, 5 different songs have received 0’s

Where to listen:

Spotify

Apple Music

Tidal Music
