Hey everyone,

made a post recently about how I need to buy a bass amp for a fast approaching gig. The venue I will be playing at isn't enormous but can hold around 80-100 people. I have decided that for now I want to buy a loud and powerful combo amp with a lot of watts, and will eventually invest in a preamp pedal that I can use to feed directly into the PA. I would like to have a combo so that I can also use it for rehearsals and at home, and also in the case that the option of feeding straight into the PA isn't available (might be playing at a festival at some point).

I've narrowed it down to 3 options and need your advice on which one I should go for:

Fender Rumble 500 2x10 - This one is lighter than the others but is also the most expensive unless I can get it pre-owned on ebay.

Ampeg RB-210 - Has less EQ options but apparently has a wider range of tones/sounds than the Fender? Also can be angled upwards or something I think

Boss Katana 210 - This one is only 160 watts which concerns me as I want to get something loud, apparently I want something between at least 200-300 watts. But some are saying that this amp is deceivingly loud even though it has a lower wattage than the others. My guitarist uses the Boss Katana guitar amp and I am interested in the software that allows you to create and save pre-set tones with this amp.

As you can see, all three amps are 2x10". I'm sure they're all great amps but since it's a big investment I'd like to get the best one I possibly can, and everyone online seems to have differing opinions on which is the best.

If it helps, my band primarily plays heavy rock and blues, but I might have the opportunity to play in a punk band in the future. My main concern is for my bass to be heard and not get lost in the mix as this is sometimes a problem at rehearsals and past gigs, my drummer and guitarists are pretty loud.

All 3 are just about in my price range, obviously I'd like to go for a cheaper one but if everyone decides that the Fender is best even though it's expensive I'm more than willing to shell out.
