Most of the big outdoor activities up here are based around some sort of vehicle: snowmobiles, four-wheeler, fishing boat, etc. There's really not much camping or hiking due to the logging industry. I've been looking at a ton of different options for all sorts of different activities and I can't believe the cost of them. All my neighbors have $30,000 side by sides, $80,000 campers being hauled by huge pickup trucks, or big bass boats with motors on them so big they fly through our small lakes in 60 seconds. My neighbor recently bought a used motorhome that cost more than his house did. Another family can't afford to purchase a snowblower but somehow each has their own personal snowmobile.

I technically could afford to buy these things but I just can't swallow spending that much for what amounts to a hobby. Going used is always an option but people run their machines ragged around here and then still want to sell them for 60% of the new price.

I know whining about it doesn't solve anything but I feel like there has to be other people out there experiencing the same thing.

Food shopping

dramatic decrease in hot dog quality - finding bone shards in every brand across the board

So far I've found bone shards in nathan's hot dogs, all aldi ground meat and sausage products, and costco extra large hot dogs which was a shock, I thought for sure costco would be high quality enough to not have bone shards in their dogs, but nope.

Is this happening to anyone else? This seems pretty dangerous, in the past hot dogs were recalled for bone shards, but it doesn't seem like they're recalling these now.

I’m struggling so bad

I have to stop spending money. It’s imperative that I save money to move across the country in the next year or two. I have a baby nephew that I want to live close to! He’s still very young, so I have time to be in his life still. I buy things I don’t need and I eat delivery too much! Why is doodash addicting?? 😠😩
