The chocolate, which belonged to the 8th Baronet, Sir Henry Edward Paston-Bedingfeld, was discovered by National Trust conservators.

The conservators found the chocolate whilst cataloguing the belongings of his daughter Frances Greathead, who died last year aged 100.
