How screwed is everyone next year?

I have less than 12 months left on my cushty 1.5% mortgage. At current interest rates my payments are going to go up by £600-£700 a month! My house value has lost 10% this year. Childcare has gone up, food, water, do I need to mention gas and electric! Whilst optimistic I know I am screwed. 12 months ago I could save £600 a month, with the cost of living I now save nothing. I need to find another £600 a month. Maybe I'll have a long lost aunt leave me some dough. What is everyone else's outlook? Are we headed for a property crash?

I'm staggered by the amount of people I meet who don't like tap water or need something added to it to drink it, or people who don't drink water at all

People of Britain: what is your memorably awful restaurant experience?

Inspired by a response I made to another thread, what is everyones absolute worst restaurant experience, whether because of food, service or something else entirely?

Mine was an Italian restaurant in Worcester. Two blind people sat there, who after being seated were then completely ignored for 40 minutes. I ended up ordering just-eat from the same restaurant to the table and giving the angry waitress a bit of a lecture (we'd been waving our hands like nutters by this point.)

Why is the UK so anti extended breastfeeding ?

The other day a lady at the library was breastfeeding her child that was around 3 years old. I noticed a lot of people were looking at her funny. For some reason it also put me on edge even though I'm actually still breastfeeding my 14 month old (granted she's a lot younger than 3). I've had so many family members telling me I need to stop breastfeeding my daughter (this started when she was about 9 months). I am at the point where i do not like breastfeeding her in public anymore. In other parts of the world extended breastfeeding is considered quite normal so why is it so almost frowned upon here??

If you are against extended breastfeeding why is that?

Edit - sorry not one person has given me a properly backed up with evidence reason as to why extended breastfeeding is 'wrong'.

How can 7 18 year old boys go camping when we keep being declined for the single-sex groups rule?

Advice for no single-sex groups rule at campsites?

Been trying to find a campsite for a group of friends to stay at for a few days. There’s 7 of us all boys and around 17/18 which I know sounds like trouble.

So far we’ve been denied from 5 campsites saying that they don’t allow single sex groups. Personally I think 7 lads and a girl would be much worse but that’s their rules.

Anyone got any ideas how we can find somewhere to stay? Thinking two nights with two pitches as we have two tents between. Looking around the Lake District.

We aren’t any trouble and just want to have a nice camping trip to relax after finishing A-Levels
