Just found the new character introduction of Reverse 1999: Pickles has always brooded over life's most pressing questions. The origins of the universe, the end of the world, and the destiny dogkind—these philosophical matters plague this puppy's consciousness everyday. The extent of this canine's rumination is seen in his awesome ultimate, a puppy sprinting through a river of stars. He’s so adorable! I just hope we can have the global version asap.

Confirmed addicted to Gacha and pain (FGO mostly, but have played A LOT since 2014)
But, I started timeee ago playing Summoners Wars (2014) up to 2015 or so. Abandoned it until recently where I'm having fun (and pain at the same time with these rates)
Was wondering, why nowadays even SW makes more money that some "popular" recent games?
Checked this revenue from June this year https://www.reddit.com/r/gachagaming/comments/14nqk7m/sensor_tower_monthly_revenue_report_june_2023/ and got honestly surprised.
Asking since, I tried E7 when it was released and I could say that it was very superior than SW in almost every way, also it was more F2P friendly. I would think nowadays E7 has to be a ton better than that time.
SW maybe has the same playerbase as before or something? Because I even I started to play recently, I for sure wouldn't recommend it to someone above FGO for example. You can even feel the difference between 0.5% of SW and 1% of FGO.
Why do you guys think what's the reason that this game still makes bunch of money, despite being so old, having really bad rates and very grindy gameplay?
