Hello fellow vikings!

I'm looking for games which are the most similar to Valheim regarding the building, the exploration, and the survival aspect. My wife is not a gamer but I convinced her to give Valheim a whirl with me and she fell in love with it. We're neck deep in the final biome now and have talked about alternatives once we finish the game, everything from starting a new world to continuing development on the current one. Having said that, I feel a little burnout coming on both of our sides and I'm hoping maybe there's a similar game to keep us occupied til the next content drop.

I've done a little research and found a couple candidates but was hoping for a broader perspective from fellow fans of the genre. I'm not well versed in this genre at all but it seems to be a perfect fit between her and my preferred style of gaming. We both like the building and exploration but she's more into the "chore" or "task" part of valheim where I like the fighting and the progression. So if there's anything that kinda checks those boxes that would be amazing.

The "theme" is not quite as important. More of the gaming elements of Valheim themselves.

Edit: I should also mention that we're crossplay. Makes for a challenge regarding suggestions I'm sure!
