U.N. Peace University Costa Rica Partnership

The Foundation’s official partnership with the UN University for Peace produced a lecture series, with hopes for a taught course on His Holiness, hosting UPeace students in India for immersion programmes, and other enriching initiatives.

Dalai Lama Chairs at Goa and Pune

Engagements with the Dalai Lama Chair at Goa University and MIT Pune have continued in the form of lecture series by distinguished field experts & FUR Fellows.

Dalai Lama & Nalanda Studies Fellowships

The Foundation launched two non-residential academic fellowships in 2021, both currently concluding their second cycles. Applications for the third round have been received.

Healing Our Minds: Multi-Faith Approaches

The Foundation responded to the growing mental health crisis during Covid times and after by organising virtual dialogues drawing on diverse spiritual faiths.

Gurukul 2022

The Annual Gurukul Programme returned for its 26th year, welcoming 28 Fellows to celebrate Tibet’s civilizational heritage in Dharamshala.

Compassion & Resilience Fellowship

To foster fortitude in today’s youth based on His Holiness’ teachings, the Compassion & Resilience Fellowship was launched in 2022, with introspective workshops, talks and activities.

Book Launches & Discussions

The Foundation continues to host successful book launches and discussions. For His Holiness the Dalai Lama: An Illustrated Biography, the conversation featured author Tenzin Geyche Tethong; His Holiness’ brother, Tenzin Choegyal; and FUR Secretary Rajiv Mehrotra, a personal student of His Holiness.

To capture the spirit of His Holiness’ commitment to inter-faith harmony and universal peace, two exhibitions were curated in collaboration with The Tibet Museum.

Films of the Spirit

In partnership with India International Centre, the Foundation hosts a monthly film festival, reaching out to audiences like university students, academics, civil society leaders and policy influentials.
