SilverTake My Energy

Today was my work-off day and my family were out visiting relatives, So I decided to bake a loaf of bread (My first try).

I made Hokkaido milk bread following a recipe from Youtube, It took me around 4 hours to complete it.

I tried it and it tasted amazing, It was soft and chewy, So I ate 2/3 of the loaf, took a nap, woke up and ate the the last 1/3.

Then I thought maybe I should make another one for my family, The first loaf was kind of a weird sphere shape, But the Hokkaido milk bread is like the rectangular shapes you use to make sandwiches, But I have no bread pan, So I made a mold using aluminium foil and using a shoe box to shape it, After I made the mold I made the second loaf in that rectangular shape.

Since I could slice it and use it in a sandwich, I wondered how wonderful a PB&J sandwich would be, Then wondered how good could it be with some whipped cream using the bread as a dipping stick, Then wondered how amazing could it be with some scrambled eggs.

And I joke you not, I put some jam, put the bread into my mouth, And started running pretending to be late for school (I feel proud about this for some reason)

In the end all that was left were 2 sad slices that I told myself I might as well eat them now.

So that's it I spent my off-day baking and eating 2 entire loaves of bread, And let me tell you that thing is as unhealthy as it is delicious, one loaf seemed around 1500 calories from the ingredients, I ate two entire loaves with some extra stuff.

Not my family, Not my friends, Only I and God shall know about this day.

I tried to post this in the subreddit needadvice but it didn't let me and removed my post. Hope I get more help here lol what does it even mean? I'm not a teenager but a grown woman by the way lol I was in Spain last week and I can't get a guy out of my head that I saw there. It's not love at first sight or anything because the guy and I haven't even spoken. except for the few sentences at the table (he was a waiter in the hotel we were staying at) but I don't understand why I cannot stop thinking about him? There was weird tension since day one that I can't put my finger on. We saw him almost every day in the restaurant but it seemed like he was deliberately avoiding us. I was with my boyfriend. And except for the first day it seemed like he waited every table around us except for us and I don't know why. I did see him looking my way whenever I came in and he caught my eye as well. But why would he avoid me then? There was such weird tension that I almost felt uncomfortable. I even searched for the hotel on social media hoping to find him because I couldn't get him out of my head. Lmao have you ever seen someone on your vacation and cannot stop thinking about them?

Edit: please don't be so mean lol I'm a faithful and loyal person and would never cheat on my boyfriend. I'm just trying to understand my feelings. I didn't choose to think about a random man.

Edit 2: I'm in my early 30s and I never fall for a random guy lol I'm not new to this game but i never felt like that before which is why I made the post. I did it to understand what's happening. It wasn't clear to me that it could be a crush. Especially because I felt uncomfortable due to the tension. Also it was happening out of my control. But I now came to the conclusion that I was very much attracted to him for whatever reason. We will never know if he felt the same and it doesn't matter anyway. I do not believe he'd be a better match than my bf. I don't have romantic or sexual thoughts about him. It's more like "who are you? I want to know more about you. we could have a deep connection". That's it. I guess his deliberate avoidance caught my attention and interest. Maybe it was also that I was wondering how someone living at the beach could be so pale. I remember this was going through my head lol and thinking back , it was his voice as well. Everything about him attracted me unintentionally. Also my boyfriend didn't pay for my trip why are people assuming this? Lol Case closed, thanks for all the nice comments!

Popular Posts

When a thread has gained a lot of activity, been highly upvoted, and has attracted a lot of outside users, we tend to be a bit more heavy-handed on the removal of comments and the banning of users, as often they haven’t read the rules or understand the environment we try to foster here.

A Grain of Salt

We as mods don't usually require verification for posts. If the OP would like to reach out and verify their story with us (or edit the post with verification) then they are free to. Other than that, we cannot say if a story is true or false. Take each story posted with a grain of salt.
