Brave Browser

For the past two or three days I've been having some issues with YouTube videos buffering for some unknown reason even though the client had ample video buffered.

I watch most videos at 1.5x speed by default and it was also happening at 1.25X. It was happening at 1X, but very infrequently.

I tried turning off Hardware Acceleration and it "worked" but the videos were jerky and it was like watching terrible stop-gap animation at 1.5X.

Nothing changed so I have no idea why suddenly Brave stopped working.

I tested with both Chrome and Edge, both using Hardware Acceleration, and they were fine.

I turned off Shields for YouTube, restarted the browser entirely, and that seems to be working - I can use hardware acceleration and watch at 1.5X and everything seems fine.

Just posting in case others are having the problem to give them something to try.
