Aotearoa / New Zealand: Tomorrow's Sideswipe, Today!

As per subject, my first time* dealing with the emergency services. Saw a guy with a big, f**k off kitchen knife chasing another dude hell for leather down the road. Within 6 minutes of the call, the helicopter was hovering overhead and three police cars had already arrived. I was impressed both by the way the dispatch caller handled things and the response from the police. NZ is good. Thanks, Police.

* Actually, now I think of it, it is my second time calling the emergency services. First time was when I lived in Brazil and was held up at gun point. I called the cops. My call went to their answering machine.
