I remember clearly when this movie came out. I felt like I would hear about it for decades to come. Fast forward to today and I haven’t seen a single person talk about, reference it, or even seen it in friend’s movie collections.

This is an unbelievable L.

The cast is led by Robert Duvall, Michael Caine, and a young Haley Joel Osment. It’s the very next project Tim McCanlies wrote after The Iron Giant.

It has every correct ingredient for a massively beloved modern day classic. But it disappeared completely and quickly.

Does anyone else remember this movie? And if so, am I wrong on my part for being mind blown how it never became massive?

Can you think of a movie without any chairs in it?

In a pointless debate with girlfriend, I can't think of any films that don't feature seats in some form. We are counting as seats as chairs. Couches are chairs. Animal movies have chairs usually in the abstract sense even.

Maybe a secondary (and equally pointless) question is, is there a full film where nobody sits down?

Like besides weird arthouse shit, we can't think of anything.

EDIT: Shout-out to all the people going back to look through films to find a chair and debunk others. I applaud you. Also the delightfully pedantic back and forths on what is and isn't a chair.
