Title. I've got a certain amount of expertise with PC gaming myself, but not cloud gaming, so I don't know what sort of specifications the local machine would need to have, besides presumably an Ethernet port.

He's only going to be using it as a secondary console for PC exclusives and the like, and the major concern is budget. Right now, the Nvidia Shield TV seems to be a good deal, although I'm not sure if the Pro model would be necessary for 4K gaming. I am worried that would limit the device to streaming with GeForce Now, where I would assume a PC would be able to use other cloud gaming services. I have absolutely no idea if this is a problem in practice.

For those who have played GeForce Now and played natively on a good PC, does it feel more like a 5% difference, or a 30% difference?

Specifically, I’m talking about games like shooters (where the responsiveness, mechanics, and graphics really count).

To be fair, I am really impressed with GeForce Now. I’ve been using it for the last few months on my MacBook Pro (with a 27” 4K monitor), and I’m grateful to be even able to play games like Battlefield 1, BF5, PUBG, etc.

But I can’t help but feel that I’m at a noticeable disadvantage. I use ethernet with a 300 Mbps connection (and my in-game ping is usually 10-70 ms), but even with my in-game resolution at 2K it feels like games can be a bit blurry / patchy sometimes. I’ve put a few hours into researching settings and I’m positive my settings are optimal for my situation, but I’m wondering how much of an improvement (both in terms of graphics and controls / responsiveness) I would experience if I played these games natively on a good gaming PC.

For those who have experienced both, is it hardly a noticeable difference (like 5% better on a proper gaming rig) or more like 30% (and therefore playing natively on a rig is quite an advantage)?

Heya, nowadays when I want to play Automation: The Car Company Tycoon Game it launches normally then it signs me in Steam but the game doesnt load up, it just gives me a box that says "Failure: invalid platform". Is this fixable?

Experiencing Audio Latency in Dota 2

Hi, does anyone know how to setting for audio latency issue? I've set the streaming quality to highest, constantly playing with ~60fps and 0-2ms. But the sound feedback is obviously having delay of 0.5-1s for the whole game.

I've tried to set the in-game audio output to GeForce Now but still experiencing the same issue.. did I miss something to solve it?
