I got a Ryzen 7 7800X3D along with Asus TUF Gaming X670E Plus WiFi and 16 x 2 GB Trident Z5 6000Mhz RAM a week ago. I was running it on the latest BIOS and XMP profile for a week and it ran with no issues. However today morning the PC failed to POST. I cleared CMOS and ran it at default 4800Mhz and it booted up. However the next time I tried to boot it wouldn't POST and VGA light was on. I thought it was a dead GPU so I tried another GPU but to no avail. I checked RAM, reseated CPU, checked motherboard pins. Everything was fine but it wouldn't POST even on the iGPU. I took off the motherboard from the case and noticed this spot on the back side of VRM.

What do you think could be the reason for the burning? I will sent it for an RMA but how to prevent further issues? Thanks!
