Bought tickets to a Dua Lipa's concert and a Muslim friend has something to say about it Bought tickets to a Dua Lipa's concert and a Muslim friend has something to say about it

I bought some Dua Lipa's concert tickets after waiting for years to see her again. Before I bought her concert tickets, I told my friends that we could go to her concert together but none of them bothered with my invitation. So, I bought her concert tickets and told them about it. Everyone was cool with it, except this one Muslim friend. When I showed him my e-ticket, that's when he became a twat.

He grabbed my phone and took a picture of my ticket to post it on his WhatsApp status. In his caption, he mentioned how I had fallen to Western hedonism and strayed away from Islamic values and morality. Looking back, it is hilarious to get lectured about moral values from this Muslim friend who is sexist, homophobic, racist and rude. It's even funnier when you also realise he often makes r@pe jokes and inappropriately grabs someone's private parts.

Edit: I should've referred to him as a Muslim acquaintance instead of “friend” because we are not even close.

Catholic school's response to a news story about their priest grooming children, another destroying evidence, and the principal killing himself: remind parents what they can't post on social media. Catholic school's response to a news story about their priest grooming children, another destroying evidence, and the principal killing himself: remind parents what they can't post on social media.

This news story came out recently about my nephew's school: https://www.wcpo.com/news/local-news/i-team/an-interview-with-an-accused-priest-a-scorched-hard-drive-texts-with-a-boy-and-a-missing-report

In 2021 priest at a school was texting a 13 year old boy, another destroyed his hard drive, and the principal killed himself.

The school responded by reminding the parents of the things they weren't allowed to post on social media.

I'm not a parent of a child at your school.
