Hi, r/gameideas!
I'm starting a new project and would like some feedback on my idea! The concept is joining Megaman-like mechanics, enemies, and level design, but in a continuous world with some barriers that you can only go through with weapons that bosses drop, or by finding hidden upgrades that give you special powers. I'm thinking of making a small game first since I'm a one-person team, so it would be a shorter and cheaper experience. What do you think? Does this idea excite anyone?
