I started a journey of reading tarot cards with incredible high accuracy. As a piscis, l have been always really intuitive and believe in astrology and all that. Really spiritual. But after l started reading tarot cards she has been calling me satanic and other things. I am not sure if she is afraid of me and my energy but l thing of myself more as a healer.

She gave has been really distant and even gave birth 15 days ago and all that and supposedly she forgot to tell me, mind you we were supposedly sister. She hasn't send me a picture of the baby or even didn't tell me the baby's name, only after l ask what was the baby's name.. it feels so hurtful..

My husband seems more mad than me. Even want me to confront her as it is not correct. But l am not sure what to do here. As she is very stubborn and with a big ego. Like she sometimes acted very arrogant and believing she is so perfect and could not do no wrong. Like she stop talking to me in our youth for several years because l started smoking for example.

It is hurtful, l just did not see this coming. I even told her l stop using the cards and that l returned it when she called me those awful things. I had an ectopic pregnancy, battles with depression, far away from family, an accidents that l wouldn't be here but made me strong and more empathy. Thats why l became more spiritual as well. So she will also tell me all those awful thing was because l am a satanic when in reality they happen before anything 😪

Not sure what to do. I am sorry for the vent. But needed too.

Well, I've stopped looking at arguments from cynics. I say cynics because I think being a skeptic doesn't mean you don't believe in spirituality, it just means you're more, well... skeptical. And skepticism is good to a certain extent but too much of it can make you closed minded. Anyway, I went over the last arguments I had saved today from many materialist subs dismissing things like NDEs, something I'm very interested in.

On the askscience sub someone mentioned how the Aware 2 study failed. (I'm not actually sure if that's true, and of the tiny sample size, two people did report out of body experiences and one of those people could give a pretty accurate description of what had happened around him.) Anyway, someone said something that really got me thinking, about how he thinks scientists should stop studying this "baloney" and spend their money on things more worth their while.

So how do you win? Materialists and closed-minded skeptics will, on one hand, claim there's no repeatable scientific evidence for NDEs. Then when they do try testing for evidence, (and have possibly found some), that's a problem too because so many people already believe it's not spending money on. I don't know, but it seems to me like a lot of people don't even want to touch on these issues and would rather not study them. Maybe there's a reason there's so little scientific evidence of NDEs, especially with cases like Pam Reynolds, when they can brush off what happened to her and say her doctor's account isn't good enough because it's only personal testimony.
