Hi Everyone,

The following is an anonymous Likert scale self-report survey of sexual inadequacy. It is eleven questions, and you do not require an email. I may have to do a project soon on the subject of sexual inadequacy. Although I will not use my results for that purpose, it may allow for more opportunities for personal inquiry into this subject in psychology. To note: some of the questions have been adapted from Gordan (2018), in case you want to read further. This survey is only intended for those who are aged 18 and above. Upon your submission of this survey, you are presenting yourself as such.

Thanks for all of your responses and time.

Hi y'all. I'm continuing the project I wrote my master's paper on and I REALLY need a more diverse sample. If you're straight and/or a male that would be perfect and I would love if you took 10 mins to take my study! I have mainly LGBT/women participants so far.

Also open to other data collection suggestions if anyone has em! This is an IRB exempt project and I really am hoping to collect at least 100 more data points. The test is completely anonymous and approved by PSU.

Survey link here.

Update: Now only *8* more responses needed to reach my target sample size - thank you so much to everyone who has helped out so far!

Hello everyone,

I am a final year student on the MSc Psychology (conversion) programme at the University of Greenwich. I am currently collecting responses regarding your attitudes and preferences for seeking support (or not) for mental health concerns, supervised by Dr Michèle Birtel. Participation will help build onto the body of research that explores how psychological help-seeking could be made more accessible to those who may benefit from it.

Thank you so much for your time!

Additional Guidelines

Gender / Sex

When asking about gender or sex, include "another gender" and/or a "fill in the blank" option if your demographic is for (Everyone).
This helps with data integrity, and it also helps with inclusion. More people than you might think would fill out "other" on a gender question! If you are strictly interested in only people who identify as Male or Female, make sure you use (M/F) in your demographic.

Race / Ethnicity

If you are asking about race and/or ethnicity in your survey, please know the differences between them.
Race refers to physical characteristics that one shares with other people of one's race, while ethnicity refers to one's culture and traditions. If you mix these up, you once again may run into data integrity issues!

Ethical implications and consent

Don't forget to consider ethical implications and consent for your research.
If you require signed consent from a moderator before posting your survey, feel free to message the moderators and we would be happy to help you out.

Resources

Self Post vs. Survey:
Post your survey using a survey tool instead of merely asking a question in a text-only post. People are more likely to respond! (Data, thanks to user telekinetic!)

We've made a list of commonly used survey tools in our wiki to give you some ideas of resources you can use to make surveys. We make no guarantees or endorsements for any of these!
