Coinbase

I first encountered a nonsense called Coinbase when I decided to join the world of cryptocurrencies and learn how it works. Unfortunately, my first experience was not a positive one, because immediately after registration I received the following notification when trying to log into my account:

You are currently blocked. Please reach out to our customer service team if you believe this is a mistake.

At first I thought it was some kind of misunderstanding, since I live in a non-sanctioned country, have never used cryptocurrencies and have not used my address to register on Coinbase.

But later I realized that this office just mocks their users, wasting their time without giving any feedback.

But I decided to get my way and went to look for tech support. To my surprise, I found that you can leave a request to tech support only after logging into the account, access to which I was blocked immediately after registration. After spending a lot of time trying to find a way to leave a request without authorization, I still sent a request to sort out my problem. What was my surprise when after a while I received the answer that technical support was not available in my area! A lot of wasted time, useless moves, and zero results. No answer, no explanation, no recommendation, NOTHING!

This is despite the fact that other cryptocurrency exchanges, for example, such as Binance and many others have no problems working in our country and there are no problems with logging into the account or technical support.

And finally, the final point of my interaction with this awful company was that today I received the following letter from them:

We are reaching out to inform you that we will be discontinuing all services to your above-mentioned account, as we will be disabling access for the accounts that no longer meet our updated standards for these services. Please note that you will be able to access Coinbase.com or the Coinbase app until 25th September 2023 and should withdraw any funds held in your account by such date.

They will disable access to the account, which they never gave me. How sneaky!
