Onebag packing list help for 1 week in Sardinia Onebag packing list help for 1 week in Sardinia
Packing List

Hello everyone! I'm trying to possibly go onebag only for a 1 week long summer trip in Sardinia. I'm 27 yo and the trip will involve going to the beach everyday and go out clubbing almost every night.

My bag will be a TNF borealis (either the classic, 29L or the 'normal' new one, 28L).

One of the objectives is, where possible, to be stylish for the night. One of the main problem is that everywhere it will be sweaty cause of the hot weather.

Right now that is my packing list (except what I will be wearing at the airport) and I am unable to fit everything (I'm almost there!!). Could you provide some suggestions on how to go smaller?

  • Clothes and swim gear

    • 7 socks and 7 underwear

    • 5 cotton t-shirts

    • 2 short sleeved button up shirts

    • 1 pair of linen shorts

    • 1 pair of gym shorts

    • 1 pair of linen pants

    • 1 pair of slippers

    • 2 microfiber beach towels

    • 2 swim shorts

    • Decathlon easybreath mask (could attach to an outside carabiner)

  • Toiletries

    • 100ml body wash

    • 100ml shampoo (must have)

    • 100ml conditioner (needed cause of the salt water)

    • 100ml aloe vera lotion (after-sun)

    • travel size toothbrush and toothpaste

    • various drugs

    • small perfume

    • dehodorant

    • small packable towel

Thanks everyone!!

One “personal item” bag packing list One “personal item” bag packing list
Packing List

Now that many airlines no longer include a free carry-on bag with their lowest fares, I plan to take only a personal item with me. That bag must be no larger than about 20L (41 cm x 33 cm x 15 cm) and must fit under the seat in front of you or in the overhead bin. Tell me what is your favourite 20L bag and typical packing list for an indefinite trip assuming a weekly handwash please.

Packing list for convention Packing list for convention
Packing List

My bag clocks in at 19 lbs (and that’s without water in the water bottle) so curious what I might do to lighten the load. This is for three nights at a convention.

Bag: Nemo Vantage 30 L (about 3 lbs on it’s own)

Tech pocket: 14 in Asus Zenbook (3 lbs. needed for sister’s panel presentation) and power brick Medium sized card binder New Nintendo 3DS XL Kindle

Swell water bottle (heavy, but only one that fits)

Thule tech pouch with cords and battery pack General soap for washing water bottle

Medium eagle creek clean/dirty cube -3 t-shirts -1 pair capris -swim suit -sleep shorts

Toiletry bag -electric toothbrush (really need this) -deodorant -meds -toothpaste -mouthguard

Ziplock bag: 5 pairs underwear (it’s gonna be very hot) 3 bras (see above) Sleep shirt

3 pairs of socks and one sweatshirt lose in bag.

Also planning to do a .5 bag (fjallraven bum bag) with 2 more 3DS’s.

Now that I’ve written it all out I don’t think there is a place to cut without leaving behind convention specific items 🙃. What do you all do?

10-14 Days Combination Vacation and Road Trip in a Forclaz Packable 15 liter 10-14 Days Combination Vacation and Road Trip in a Forclaz Packable 15 liter
Packing List

https://imgur.com/a/KIfnykE

Flying from New Orleans to the northeast US to visit family for a week then driving a car I purchased home to the New Orleans area.

Bag is a decathlon forclaz 15 liter packable bag I picked up in Chamonix, France earlier this summer. It is maybe 2/3 full so about 10 liters worth. For reference I’m a petite 5ft female, clothing sizes 4-6 or small-medium.

Additionally I have a string nanobag and a 2 liter forclaz packable fanny pack (also bought in France 🇫🇷). I may not even end up using them, but for now they are dual usage as pseudo packing cubes.

Wearing: cotton/poly blend undies, sports bra, merino socks, altra trail runners, yoga pants, cotton tee, salomon essential light-warm full zip fleece, bracelet, watch

Packed: a pair of sports shorts, a cotton tee, rain jacket, bralettte, merino socks x2, cotton undies x3, cotton/poly undies & pair of exofficio undies (one each), pair of outdoor research active ice sun sleeves, brooks run visor, sunnies, prescription glasses for driving

Toiletries: toothbrush/ paste, flossers, razor, deo, face friendly sunscreen, 5ml spray of febreeze gain fabric spray, chapstick, brush, hair clip, some meds, a curad $1 store FAK

Electronics: phone and cable, Bluetooth earbuds and cable, cable for watch, anker powerfusion 5k

Other: a sea to summit fleece sleeping bag liner stored in a neck-pillow case (you can see it hanging off the back of my pack), this is because I plan on doing some mods to it and my family has an industrial sewing machine I can use for it, I’m actually super glad to have it because despite the fact that I am wearing pants and a fleece and I KNOOOOOOW airplanes are notoriously freezing for me, I am still so cold right now waiting even to board the plane, I’ll definitely be using it on this flight

What can I cut down on? What can I cut down on?
Packing List

My carry on bag is too heavy for me to lift what can l cut down on?

It all fits but it’s too heavy

5 days in Maine

5 t shirts 1 romper 3 shorts 1 pair pjs 1 light hoodie 2 bras 7 pairs socks and underwear 1 swim bottom 2 swim tops 1 swim cover up 1 pair crocs 1 first aid kit 1 liquids bag 1 makeup bag with brushes/powders 1 crossbody bag 1 week of meds in pill case

It also currently contains my travel fit which is 1 pair shorts 1 sports bra 1 tank Compression socks

Edit; I took it down to one pair of shorts (plus the ones I’m wearing to travel) 1 bra Cut the liquids down a bit Cut down makeup Took crossbody out Took out travel fit Meds will be out as well. Tweaked outfits. Because some were a few pieces. Keeping it simple.

We went from 28ish to 18-19. The suitcase is either 7 or 8 pounds of that. It’s not traveling the world in a standard backpack. But it’s doable.

Thanks for your help!

Pack

I decided on the Hyperlite Day Pack because everything fit with room to spare and it was clearly an under the seat pack. I ended up really loving its features and I think I am going to explore using UL backpacking packs in the future- as in a might sell some of my larger, heavier packs this month. Specifically I loved the large front pocket. I was able to easily shove non-precious items in their like cheez-its bought at airport, sweatshirt, hip pack when going through TSA, sunglasses case etc.

Clothing

I wanted to try a non merino shirt. I picked up the free fly shirt because I liked their hoodie. The shirt is fine, but it definitely smells after a day of use whereas I could definitely rewear the merino. I guess I don't know what I was expecting. Everything else was great.

Brown Buffalo pencil case

Honestly this is a great minimalist dopp kit. It opens up enough to see everything. The lack of organization was a non issue. The kit was mostly solid so I didn’t worry about leakage. I will definitely use this again when I don't need to bring shampoo/conditioner.

TSA friendly packing

I don’t have pre-check because I refuse to pay to avoid arbitrary “safety checks.” This is one of the first times I have traveled where I didn’t have to remove anything from my bag. I will for sure do this in the future. Plopping you bag on the conveyor belt and wearing slides is just so nice. Technically my toiletries had a small toothpaste and 1.5 oz sunscreen but I am pretty sure they don’t check for liquids anymore.

Patagonia UL blackhole waist pack

Nearly perfect 1.5 set up for pocket relief. It fits emergency meds, cords, power bank, gum, AirPods, and a phone perfectly. I will be using this again for sure.

Packing help for trip Packing help for trip

Hi everyone! I'm studying in rome this fall for 3 months, but before that I'm doing some backpacking across Europe (starting in Dublin and ending in Rome) for about a month. I'm having a bit of trouble deciding how and what to pack. I don't want to deal with the bulk of a big suitcase while traveling but also know I'll be living somewhere for a pretty long time. I’m a chronic overpacker too. What do people suggest? Thank u x

Need Packing Advice. Need Packing Advice.
Packing List

I'm currently studying abroad in Europe, and my program is about to end soon. I plan on traveling for a few more weeks before going back home. I have a check-in bag and an Osprey backpack, which is about a carry-on size and has a personal backpack attachment. I want to only use the backpack as my main source of luggage during my trip and not have to open my check-in luggage during this journey (unless I need to). I am not very good at packing efficiently and need help minimizing and repacking what I should pack in my backpack or check-in bag for this trip when traveling around to different places. Here is what I have with me:

Clothes

**Undergarments:**

  • 10x underwear

  • 10x socks

  • 10x undershirts

**Tops:**

  • 10x T-shirts (4 for sleep, 6 for outdoors)

  • 3x button-down shirts (short sleeve)

  • 3x polo shirts

  • 1x thin thermal long-sleeve

**Bottoms:**

  • 5x pants

  • 4x shorts

  • 4x sleep shorts

  • 1x overall

**Outerwear:**

  • 2x jackets (1 weather-resistant, 1 regular)

**Shoes:**

  • 2x pairs of shoes

  • 1x pair of flip-flops (for showers)

**Accessories:**

  • 2x towels (1 small, 1 large)

  • 1x hat cap

  • 2x belts

Other Items

  • 2x portable chargers

  • 5x outlet adapters (4 functional)

  • compression bags/cubes (various sizes and forgot how many)

  • Laptop with charger

  • 3x small bags (electronics, toiletries, shaving)

  • 1x padlock

  • 2x charger bricks (1 fast charging/USB-C outlet, 1 USB-A that has two ports)

  • 1x umbrella

  • 1x neck pillow

  • 1x headphones

  • 1x earbuds

  • ?x souvenirs

  • 1x dirty laundry bag

  • 2x pairs of glasses

  • 2x boxes of daily contacts

  • 1x Xbox controller

I think this is all I have, if I am forgetting something then I will have to figure it out by myself. Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi folks, I'm travelling to India in November for just shy of 8 weeks, landing in the south and making my way north before heading into Bangladesh for about 11 days.

I'd like to travel as light as I can for both simplicity but also because I've got a permanent back injury which I've not travelled with before.

I've not been to this region before either so not sure what might be some must have items to carry and what I can just buy there if I really need them, so would love your feedback or any good resources you've found helpful.

TIA
