I’d like to parallel the similarities regarding the “disclosure” of UFO’s and freak waves. Freak waves were considered a myth by professionals in the oceanography field until they could be denied no more.

Despite photos, eye witness accounts, some readings from military instruments, people with still deny the existence of UFO's however in the past phenomenon that is now science fact were considered fiction. And a good example of this is rough/freak waves. There are forecasts for these now but they were considered a myth until 1995. And there are many parallels in this in regards to UFO's.

A freak wave is a wave much larger than those around it and are not caused by seismic events so tsunamis don’t count.

Sailors had stories about these waves for hundreds of years but they were considered myths then in about the 1850's we start getting records of high objects getting hit by waves. There are reported encounters going back to before the 19th century. In the 19th century in 1861 Eagle Island lighthouse (Ireland) at 27m (90ft) height had its windows broken by a wave.

In the 19th century Oceanographers were using an equation called the Gaussian function to calculate the height of waves which for all practical purposes limited them to 15m or 50ft. Every 10,000 years it estimated a wave of 30m or 100ft would form.

Then in the 20th century coast guards (trained individuals) started reporting these waves but they were denied. Some ship wrecks had impact damage to their smoke stacks high above the sea. In 1980 the Esso Languedoc got hit by a freak wave and there is a photo of that wave but freak waves were still denied.

In 1995 Draupner oil platform had been built to survive a once in ever 10,000 year wave for the area and was equipped with the latest wave monitoring equipment. It was hit by a 25.6 m (84 ft) wave and two pieces of equipment recorded the wave and rough waves could be denied no more.

When referring to UFO’s the term multiple sensors is sometimes used and this is important and a piece of equipment can malfunction however if two pieces of equipment give the same reading, they are either correct or malfunction in the same way which is astronomically unlikely.

I think something David Grusch said during the News Nation interview was a big hint at figuring out the government body responsible for the UAP crash retrieval program and it's cover-up. All the following information is freely available on Wikipedia but I am basing my connections off of Grusch's account of the Italian craft retrieval.

TL;DR: The group behind the behind the UAP crash retrieval and cover-up program is the CIA's Special Activities Center (SAC)

In the New Nation interview, Grusch claims he was only allowed to discuss a single craft retrieval case, the one from Italy in 1944-45. He said this was performed by the Office of Strategic Services (OSS). Removing a craft from an enemy country would most likely have been performed by their paramilitary unit.

So what happened to the OSS? At the time, the OSS was the only centralized intelligence organization in the US government, as it was created during WWII for intelligence coordination. A month after the war concluded, the OSS was dissolved with it's duties split into different agencies.

The Department of State took on the Research and Analysis elements.

And the Department of War took on the Intelligence and Espionage elements. This would become it's own agency in July 1947, called the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

But here is the interesting part: there is a division within the CIA called the Special Activities Center (SAC). This division is the direct descendant of the paramilitary component of the OSS, the same that likely retrieved the craft from Italy.

So lets look closer at the SAC. It is comprised the Special Operations Group (SOG) and the Political Action Group (PAG).
