You may be wondering why this youtube channel is pro-government. We may finally have the answer. If you check the description of the video it says "Co-presented to you by ⁠@MyGovIndia". Recently there was a tender issued by the govt. "Request for Empanelment (RFE) for Selection of Influencer Marketing Agencies for Empanelment with MyGov" dated 07.03.2023 .

If this link between the podcaster and govt. is true then we can see how govt. is funding Influencers to become propaganda outlets for the government. The Influencers themselves are not disclosing this fact properly which informs the audience. Even if there is no exchange of money it is clear that this podcast was used to further the narrative of the ruling establishment.

Vi harassing customers

So I went to the Vi store to change my card from postpaid to prepaid. I have stayed loyal to Vi even when the price difference between them and Jio was very high. I never opted for Airtel because I believe an Airtel-Jio duopoly would be bad the long run. But it seems like Vi is doing everything to push customers away. Firstly, they force you to have a postpaid service for atleast 4 months which is way more expensive than the cheaper prepaid plans. After this period you have back to the store and to get a prepaid sim. But even there they do not allow you to change easily. You will receive a customer service call telling you all about how much better the postpaid service is. I had the tell them that I had no interest in a postpaid service 4-5 times. I even asked them why they're bothering me, I just want a prepaid service and won't change my mind. What is stopping the average customer from just porting to jio or Airtel? Do Vi actually think this is a good strategy?
