So I gained about 120 lbs over 10 years of dealing with pediatric oncology( spoiler, fuck brain cancer and any God that'd but a child through that,it ended badly as you can guess) So through the depression came alcoholic level binging on whiskey, and not caring if I lived or died. In fact tried to take the easy way out 3 different occasions, one of which my fat ass saved my life as the pipe I had attached the rope to bent lowering me to the ground. I want my story to be clear so if someone else is where I was, they can see hope. I was always fit and active, hell I was an amateur mma fighter at 27, but after we got the diagnosis I just spiraled. So now the good stuff, in March I had hit 295 lbs, and started having knee pain. We were planning a month long trip to Japan in May, I finally had that aha moment, went to the gym and started obsessing over youtube videos on meal prep, and learned calories in calories out mantra. I didn't realize how many calories I was taking in everyday, I used to have dessert cereal to the tune of 800 calories and then drink another 2000 calories or more of whiskey after having a full day of meals both fast food and large home meals. Couple all of this with the seditary life of a tattoo artist. And poof 120lbs gained. I now go to the gym m-f workout for 2hrs before work, meal prep everything, weigh everything, I mean everything, and have lost 40lbs since may. My ultimate goal is 180lbs. My wife says she never liked how skinny I got during fight camps(fought at 155lbs) so 180 it is. I would like to post pics if I can , as it would help keep me accountable and maybe inspire someone else. We can do it yall!!!!!!!!!

TLDR. gained 120lbs over 10 years lost 40lbs since may, going for 180lbs goal. Currently 240lbs.
