-did a stint as a freelance marketer, helping mainly smaller B2C companies; basically i know my way around a simple martech stack (think canva, hootsuite/buffer, etc)

-I'm pretty decent at developing content and I've been told I have a strong voice when writing.

-not stuck to my own methods; im always willing to try new things in a measured and methodical way.

What are emerging "cool" tools in the startup ecosystem?

A few examples that come to mind: Canva, Framer, Webflow, Spline. My question is industry agnostic. I want to understand which tools have fast growing user bases. The companies I've mentioned are those that I am personally aware and excited about.

Using contractors to build app, what should I be aware of?

Hi,

After many attempts at teaching myself how to build my app, either with code or with nocode/lowcode. I figured that my best option without finding a tech cofounder is to use a contractor. I just figured that my time is better spent on my main job, defining the product the contract is building, talking to people, marketing, etc. What are your experiences? What should I be aware of? How do I manage the access to the codebase eventually once they finish everything?

Obviously, I am not a developer, so I really cant judge the quality of the code, but just the performance of the app. Neither can I check for backdoors, and any other thing that I might not want it to exist in the codebase. Also, I am not against having a cofounder, but I don’t have a relationship with anyone that fits the requirements I would want in a cofounder.

What are the best free ways to market your app?

I recently launched a social media app centered around sports, making it was one hell of an adventure and honestly I thought that would be the hardest part of this journey. Low and behold that getting people to download and give me feedback regarding the app has been far more difficult than I'd originally anticipated. I attempted to post about the app on some of my favorite sports related reddit channels and got my posts removed for self promotion.
