I am making another post on here because I wanted to talk about the psychiatric related symptoms separately. I (26 F) got the 1st AstraZeneca (called covishield in India) shot in July 2021 and the 2nd dose 3 months later. A little background, I was on 10 mg of fluoxetine during the vaccine time which was helping mildly. After the vaccine I developed intense fatigue, inattention was in bed for months which was misdiagnosed as seasonal depression ( I haven't had seasonal depression before) after that I was given atomoxetine which increased irritability and hypervigilance. That was discontinued and I went back to fluoxetine but throughout 2022 it didn't seem to be helping. I had significant depression, anxiety, irritability, developed pmdd which I previously did not have so I tapered it and have been taking supplements for the same. Over the past 5 months, the physical issues like dizziness, tachycardia, palpitations, chest pain, CFS has increased a lot and so have the psychiatric symptoms. There has been a sudden onset of OCD (no previous incidence) with graphic imagery (harm ocd, contamination ocd, false memory ocd etc) , the constant feeling of immense physiological anxiety and psychological anxiety only following much later on, intense suicidal thoughts, poor attention, disturbed sleep cycle, heightened sensory issues, increased hypervigilance, intense anger, crying a lot etc. Gaba seems to be helping a little.

What're some of the treatments y'all are using for psychiatric symptoms in particular?

Can someone please help me understand how some people are so impacted by the vaccine while others aren't?

Tldr: increase in psychiatric symptoms and onset of new psychiatric disorder.
