Disney needs to conclude Star Wars and move onto something else.

I'm going to be honest. Star Wars has been run so far into the ground it drowned in an oil deposit.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved the OG episodes. There was so much iconic scenes, the soundtrack was killer, and it was so original. Watching the old episodes always feels nostalgic, and I still really enjoy them to this day.

However, the newer stuff is a drag. Everyone gets hyped up and crazy about them, but they really aren't that great. It really just looks like a massive cash grab at this point. Most of the series I've thoroughly enjoyed (Ted Lasso, The Good Place, Gravity Falls, etc.) concluded before they lost their way, making them good till the end.

This is consistent with other series that started off good but dragged themselves out (one massive example being The Big Bang Theory), where they wanted to get so much out of it because it was successful, only to completely ruin it. I feel like Star Wars is long past that stage.

I absolutely care about the series (hence why I'm giving it this much attention), and I can't ignore it, as I'll have several people press me for my opinion when something new comes out.

I recognise that it makes a lot of money, but Dosney should really move onto something else. Same goes for the love action remakes of Disney movies. Come on guys, start something new.

Getting up early on Sundays is more enjoyable than sleeping in.

There’s just something about being up early while everyone else is still sleeping. And I get to enjoy my day off for longer. If I’m sleeping until 11 or 12, I’ll be groggy for the rest of the day and I feel like the day will just pass me by without me even noticing. Sunday mornings are great for going to parks, beaches, brunch, coffee shops, running outside, I could go on and on. If you’re sleeping in, you’ll either miss out on some of these things or those things will be very busy by the time you get rolling on your day. Part of why this is my opinion is because I used to work the brunch shift at a Mexican restaurant for many years and now my body is conditioned to getting up early on Sundays. Another reason is because I now live on the West coast and the football/baseball games of the teams I like start around 10am here. If I slept until 11 or 12 I’m missing most of the games! So yeah, that’s my wildly unpopular opinion haha.

Students that physically assault other students at school should be dealt with by law enforcement and not teachers.

The title really.

Having their kids reported to police if they're being little shits at school may encourage parents to discipline their children more effectively. Being cuffed and taken to a police station may also give the little shits a wake up call.

Secondly, teachers are employed to teach, not wrestle and restrain rowdy kids.

Edit: For some clarification on my stance regarding age. I believe that if it gets to the point where young kids have physically assaulted and injured another student, the parents have clearly failed in their duty. In this situation, I'm not recommending prosecution, but I am recommending law enforcement be contacted, if only to put some fear into the kid by taking them to the station and explaining that their actions have consequences. The parents should also be questioned thoroughly here, to look for any potential abuse at home.

In the case of young teens and onwards, I'm leaning towards having a harsher response. By the time you're at that age, you should already have a very good grasp of right and wrong. It's not down to teachers to drill that into you. Although, I'm also open to the approach of having a one strike policy, i.e. if you start a fight for the first time, you don't get treated like a full on criminal, but instead get lectured about your actions and their consequences. If you're a repeat offender however, I vote that you face more serious repercussions.

It is ok to not care if someone died. Espically if it is someone you do not know.

I do not understand why I should care or feel empathy towards someone If I have never interacted with them in my life. I do not know the person nor do I care about them and if I died they wouldn't care either. It is annoying seeing people say I should have empathy for someone across the country or someone famous who has died recently.

Mexican food should be right next to Italian and French food in terms of top tier gastronomy.

Mexican food is some of the most complex and most savory food that exists in the world. I think the fact the US spent so many decades belittling Mexican culture caused their food to be seen as cheap and simple. Mexican food is some of the most complex food that exists today. Corn, Avacado, tomato, squash, peppers are all native to Mexico they have spent hundreds of years incorporating and mixing these flavors to make something unique. The fact that no “high class” chefs see this is outstanding to me.

Increasing burger size should by its radius not by how tall it is.

I have seen this trend in which people make big burgers and they just keep increasing the length of it companies do it too.

Most of the time these long burgers will have the same filling just repeated back to back, this does not add anything to it it just makes it more difficult to eat long burgers.

Where wide burgers would be easy to make and easy to eat we can also cut them out and share them with someone which cannot be done with long burgers.
