Both teams lost their first finals series game, though the Miami Heat won the 2nd game on the road and the Panthers won their 1st home game (which was their 1st finals win ever).

The Miami Heat lost 1-4 vs. the Denver Nuggets (1st seed from the Western Conference).

The Florida Panthers lost 1-4 in the series vs. the Vegas Golden Knights (1st seed from the Western Conference as well).

As the Panthers stunned 1st seed Boston Bruins (who broke the NHL record for wins during the regular season - 65), they came back from being down 1-3 in the series (winning last 3 games).

Which means that both teams beat a team from Boston 4-3 in a playoffs series during their runs.

Also, both the Nuggets and Golden Knights won the first round 4-1 and their WCSF 4-2.

1st round: Heat 4-1 over the Bucks. Panthers 4-3 over the Bruins.

Glad the FO realizes that players who you want to reach star potential need the ball in their hands early and work through trial and error. Biggest mistake we made with Deni, sticking him in the corner.
