I have found so many surprises in the house over the last few days. I even caught my dog sticking his nose out the doggy door, going nah. Then later finding the “accident” inside.

The exit from the Freeway at Verdun is currently closed due to flood waters across the road. People who require this road to enter Hahndorf area are advised to continue to the Mount Barker exit or take the earlier Bridgewater exit.

Motorists are reminded to take care on the roads today, after significant rainfall occurred overnight in South Australia which is causing flooding in certain areas. The exit from the South Eastern Freeway at Verdun is currently closed due to flood waters across the road. People who require this road to enter Hahndorf area are advised to continue to the Mount Barker exit or take the earlier Bridgewater exit.

Also Mount Barker Road at Hahndorf, between the Onkaparinga Valley Road roundabout and River Road is currently closed due to flood water from the Onkaparinga River which has breached its bank. Flood waters are too high for vehicles to travel through, and at this stage it is unknown how long the roads will be affected by this flooding. Motorists are advised to find alternate routes. The public are reminded to not walk, ride or drive through floodwater and to look out for debris on and damage to the roads after recent storms.

Looking for new hobby/friends/life

Ive (33M) gone through a fair few hardships this year starting with a break up from a long term relationship late last year, all of it is really getting to me and i need change. I have no inspiration to do the hobbies I had for years and would like to try something new with new people. I feel left out or alienated from my friends most times which could be part of my depression. Im just feeling stagnant and sad and lonely and im hoping for some guidance on here on what to do

Hive mind money saving

From some of the recent posts I thought it would be great if we could all share where to buy basic food staples cheap. I used to buy meat at the Khurashan IGA in Prospect - great value But I’ve moved down south now and need to find all the good value places.
