Niche bought last Feb. DF64 bought last April. Between the two of them made 2 espresso per day (probably 75% on the DF64, 25% on the Niche). SSP are well seasoned. Selling as DF83 replaced both.

DF64 has the original burrs (unused) and some accessories. Angled dosing forks, along with a Camperista chute and declumper (didn't get to installing).

DF64 or ZP6?

Crazy question, but with the ZP6 supposedly coming back into stock, I’m asking it. I currently own a DF64. I like it! It’s fast and I think it produces good coffee. However, I was in the market for a ZP6 before buying it. But, it was out of stock. With it returning, I’m considering picking one up if I can. That said, I couldn’t keep both. If the ZP6 was better, I’d happily sell the DF64. But if it’s only a marginal improvement or others prefer the 64, I wouldn’t pick up a ZP6 to begin with.

For those with experience with either/both grinders, what would you personally prefer? DF64 or ZP6?

I brew primarily Orea V3, sometimes V60.

Another ZP6 x K Max x DF64 x 078 post

Friends,

I already have a DF64 with multipurpose burrs. I'll be sincere: sometimes it's hard to dial pour overs with it. Depending on the coffee and the roas level, the pour overs (I have Orea v3 and V60) are just nice or a little bit boring.

The ZP6 is back in stocks for a few days now. I don't know if it's the best opinion to get it. I've heard that the flavor profile is almost the same as DF64.

I've backed the 078 m, but I don't know if they will send to my country or if I'll get refunded. If I get the 078 it would be another grinder with the same flavor profile, isn't it?

Would it be better to buy a K Max? Do you think it would give me a slightly different (but good) flavor profile?

I have a conical hand grinder made by a genius friend (it uses Italmill 47mm conical burrs and is stepless, besides has 3 bearings, so no wiggling). I have also a flair 58... would the k Max produce nice shots? Or the J series is better?

[SOLD]
Selling white DF64 with stock burrs (less than 15 shots pulled on the burrs) and extras. The grinder has been cleaned as you can see in the photos. Asking $275 shipped CONUS or $250 local 91040. Paypal/Cash.

Metal dosing funnels for 58mm portafilter and catch cup. These are essential for keeping grinds off the counter.
Genuine Mythos declumper installed.
Food-safe anti-popcorn funnel.
Stock burrs with less than 15 shots pulled.
Vernier grind size indicator (installed) to precisely track grind adjustments and additional arrow grind size indicator.
Rugged hard travel case.
One of the rubber sleeves for the portafilter holder has a tear (pictured in the album).

DF64 Grinder is getting coffee bits stuck in the burrs (friction sound when turning off)

Calling all DF64 owners! As the title says, I am having issues with my DF64. Coffee is getting stuck in the burrs, making it hard to lower the grind size and creating a friction noise when turning off the grinder.

Up for sale is a DF64 V3 that I purchased new in February 2022, and is currently spinning some SSP Red Speed 64mm Multipurpose (MP) burrs. It is also well aligned. The grinder was originally gloss black, however I re-wrapped it with matte black vinyl. The MP burrs were purchased in August 2022 and have seen pretty light to moderate use. Stock burrs are included as well and are in top shape. As you can hopefully tell from the photos, the grinder's in impeccable condition!

Mods/Accessories:

- 2 Adjustment dial collars - Both OEM but one is the original and is zeroed for the stock burrs, and the other is brand new and the dial sticker is zeroed for SSP MP burrs. The one pictured is for the MP burrs. Consider it a gift from me to whoever buys this grinder :D.

- OEM silver metal dial indicator that's found on newer models.

-3D printed exit chute + declumper from Camperista3D on Etsy (stock one included as well)

- Anti-popcorn funnel device

- Dosing cup angle adapter

Gaggia Classic W/ Auber PID + Etsy Housing + Extra pressure gauge and water pipe -- bought this used in 2020 and used it until 2022 when I upgraded to the decent, modified the OPV, and bought this housing for it -- pressure gauge started leaking so I uninstalled it, but have an extra one if someone wants to try to figure it out -- $400 + shipping OBO
