So, we got less than a week left, and you want to participate. You weren't able to do a lot of Reddit clowning and reacting during the finals so you want to make up for it at the draft. But there's only one problem: you don't know anything about college or youth or Europe or Scooters! Well don't worry, I, a guy on reddit, am here to save you my child. You want to be condescending to people on Reddit?

So Follow these simple guidelines and you can reply "lmao" to people who disagree with you like a pro and people will think you're super cool because you are an expert in the draft.

Guideline number 1: You hate Brandon Miller now.

Right now, there's a lot of debate between Scoot Henderson and Brandon Miller for who should go with pick number 2. And by that I mean, no there isn't. Everyone you'll ever talk to about the draft has decided Scoot is better than Miller. No one is really adamantly defending Miller so "not seeing it" with him is a sentence you should be using, a lot. Really just complain about him at every opportunity. You can get some bonus points by having someone else besides Miller at number 3. Speaking of which...

Guideline number 2: Pick a lottery level player who's 6'6 or taller(not Brandon Miller) Over hype them like crazy.

This used to be exclusively for Wings but with the rise of the "Big Guard" you can definitely find someone like that. As long as they're not Brandon Miller, who didn't even do well in March Madness, you should be ok. People will be impressed if you are a fan of Anthony Black.

Guideline number 3: Go to a mock draft, pick a player picked between 25-30 who's name you like. This is your "underrated" pick of the draft.

Personally, I went with Noah Clowney. Really think Brandon Miller was holding him back at Alabama. he was probably actually the best guy on that team.

Guideline number 4: When unsure, it goes G-league = Euro = other > College

Not saying all college players have to be ranked below. Just that you definitely will have a better time praising players that no one watched rather than players some randoms watched. remember that nobody actually watched anything other than college basketball, and even then, they probably just kinda paid attention to March Madness. You can say anything you like about the players you're not watching.

Guideline Number 5: Remember, numbers don't matter.

Except for Pick number and guideline number of course. His three point numbers suck? praise his freethrow numbers. His freethrow numbers suck? praise his form? his form sucks? praise his work ethic and say he'll be able to adjust. Also, remember you can like and dislike a players frame to differentiate them. Just have fun with it.

Guideline number 6: just have fun!

I'm just kidding. This isn't fun. This is very serious. Bilal Coulibaly is gonna be a superstar!
