A movie which has been reevaluated as a cult-classic and aged like a fine wine. The premise is simple, the protagonist named Megan, gets sent to a conversion therapy camp because her parents suspect that she is lesbian.

The movie satirizes the homophobes in the socoety and their logic by ridiculing them and their takes. The jokes are clever and witty, when it comes to its jibes on gender roles, and how unfruitful these conversion camps are.

While many complained that the antagonists in the movie were one-note and one dimensional, I think this exact thing lends the movie some charm, as it presented villains as goofy or buffoons, someone so devoid of logical thinking, that we can't take them seriously. I really liked how the camp had a cult like feeling to it, which gave the heads of camp an aura of stupidity and extreme unlikeability.

Natasha Lyonne was extremely likable and charming as the shy and naive cheerleader who matures over the period of time. The opening scenes were hilarious.

I really liked soundtrack of the film, it was important in lending the tone of the film. The only gripe I have is that the movie felt rushed in some places. They could have extended the runtime and made the execution a bit better.
